As far as my Xmas and pool-related stuff... every year for a while, my folks have been passing on $10k to me (most one can give w/out taxes), kinda an advance on when they're both gone (one left now). With those funds, now I can afford to buy this nice 7-foot Gandy from my second cousin, and get it moved over to the house.

I got a lesson with Scott Lee! I have been waiting a while to get together with him, so I am pretty excited about it. Should be a good experience.

Well the other only thing I really got that was pool related was a set of 10oz tumblers with pool balls on the bottom.

That and I discovered I still have about $95 in my paypal left over from a gift certificate last year. So that's like xmas too because I'll use it for something pool related. :D

Really though, I am just blessed to have a wonderful family and friends. The gifts are a terrific bonus.

No, no I didn't.
I got some shirts, shorts, jogging pants, a case of popcorn and two pair of shoes. The shoes don't fit and gave me a blister on my toe, after only 10 minutes. We're returning the shoes and ordering some from online.

While I didn't 'get' anything pool related for Christmas, I did FIND my 30 year old Rocky Tillis box cue with the micarta ferrule and the shaft autographed by Steve Mizerak. I had put it in a case and then misplaced it and have been unable to locate it. (It was behind my deep sea rod & reels).... I 'feel' like I got it for Christmas and that made Christmas all the more special to me...... imo

One of my biggest weaknesses!! On the rocks in one hand and a Coors in the other. Hard to shoot pool that way but after awhile who cares? :eek: :eek:

You're not doing it right. Pour the beer into a large tumbler, add the Ameretto and a hot dog with chili to the tumbler of beer and top with a toothpick............then, shoot pool with the other hand while drinking. VIOLA !

The boys was kind egnough to buy me a XBox 360 game funny thing is I do not play the Xbox just them.... Hmmmm :confused:

My ex-sister-in-law once bought me a lava pool cue for Christmas. Swear she thought she was doing something nice. I didn't say anything mean. My response was, "Hey, I'll put it right beside my Stroud and Omen."

In the buttsleeve, there is a lava lamp. It even has batteries in the buttcap to light it up. I thought, at one time, to have a kickass shaft fitted to the cue, and have it cored and weighted nicely. What a gaf and hustle that would be.
 
New Cue

I got a new five point Airel Carmeli cue for Christmas, can't wait to get the cue to the table.
 
I have a new home and new poolroom, so for Christmas... everything I got was pool related. I got glasses, pictures, cue racks, shot glasses, plates, and even pool Christmas ornaments.
 
I got the book, "The Inner Game of Tennis". It is great so far and also a custom set of JP's all from the Girl friend! The biggest Christmas gift should be here beginning of the new year, my GCIV from Glen (RealKingCobra)!!! Cant wait!

I just picked up that book myself (Christmas present to me from me, heh), but haven't cracked it yet. I'm hoping it's as good as folks (and you!) say it is.
