DIY ghetto cue holder

Here's a little New Year's project. You need:

- A cheap spring-loaded plastic clamp (any Home Depot should have them)
- 3 PVC pipe clamps
- a couple of screw, nylon nuts
- a spare piece billiard cloth
- Superglue

With all that and 30 minutes of your time, you make this:

It'll hold your cues on a table...

... on a vertical post...

... even on a door :)

It's not exactly small, but being a clamp, it clamps on one of my cue case's handles and I carry it that way when I have to go play in an unknown pool room.

I hope it'll give you ideas :)

It's different , but looks like it works good. Can you show a picture of how and where you attached the screws ?
Thanks

Nice

Functional and practical. How many needed to seal up an opened bag of chips?

DIY is good.

Thanks

Unfortunately I can't, I poured threadlock in the nuts and the screw holes are covered by cloth, so I can't disassemble it anymore :)

The two side holders are held by one long M4 screw that goes through them and the handle. The top holder is held by one short M4 screw.

In the black clamp, there's a coil spring with two "arms" that push against the inside of the handles. The idea is to find where to drill holes for the screws around the spring. That's why I chose a plastic clamp: there's plenty of plastic to drill through.

The holders can rotate with some effort. I locked the nuts in place with threadlock once the effort required was just right.

In any case, I think the way to drill the handle depends on what clamp you can find at your local home improvement store. I doubt you'll find the exact same one as mine. You'll know the one you can modify when you see it.
