Do ALL table brushes leak hair?

Leak... shed... deposit... leave behind... whatever.

Every table brush I've found leaves hairs behind on the cloth including the newest one that I paid $23 for!

Are there any that don't shed?

I guess I'll stay with my Dirt Devil Ultra combined with Quick Clean/Chalk Off. But it pis**es me off. :(

I vacuum all of the tables in my room. Just make sure you do it correctly. You don't want the vaccum to pull the cloth up off of the slate. Take your time and do it right. I don't like brushing because the brush pushes the dirt and chalk under the cloth. There was a thread about cleaning the tables in the room owner's section also, go check it out.

I just spent $23 on a nice horse hair brush and it sheds... That's why I'm asking. I thought I said that in my first post.

Blackjack... thanks! I've been using the Dirl Devel Ultra for several years (It does not raise the cloth off the table) and I don't know what got into me to think I might need to start brushing it. Duh! If it works... don't fix it.... again.. Duh! :)

It must have been a Chinese horse, next time buy an American horse brush and it will not shed. You got screwed is your answer.

Brushing your cloth away

Eventually brushing can lead to wearing down the cloth, or so I have been told, try a warm damp rag and a vaccum , just becareful when you vaccum around the spot.
