Sellers have the right to sell their item(s) to whomever they wish, just as Buyers do as they shop around for Sellers who offer the same item(s).

For example, a Seller may have a preference based upon several factors:

  1. Local buyers
  2. Quick payment
  3. Payment method
  4. US or abroad
  5. Previous/loyal buyers
  6. Best offer...

    Etc.
    Etc.

I purchased a new unchalked with stickers 314/2 from NSAFELLOW for $180 shipped. It was one of the best priced, smoothest, quickly shipped transaction you could ever want. I think it's wise not to judge what you are not fully informed about. I would have NO problem dealing with him , period.

You are totally in the wrong for acting that way and especially for starting this thread.
 
Well, let see, so the seller listed the cue "for a while", Buyer A comes, and they agreed a price. Then Buyer B comes and offer a little bit higher price. The seller asked him (Buyer B) about his location (to calculate the shipping fee), which made him think that he got the cue, and then, after a bunch of PMs back and forth, told him the cue was no longer available because it was sold to someone else. Now if I were Buyer B I would be unhappy.

If I were the seller, the first thing I would tell the Buyer B is "I already have a deal with someone else. If the deal fall through, the cue is yours." That way will save me and Buyer B a bunch of PMs, and I won't have to explain anything later, and my "friends" won't have to give him a bunch of red for no reason.

Just my 2 cents, but its not your cue till you pay for it.. And I have to add. In the past few days I have had a few guys make me offers on things I'm selling, agree on a price, and back out. Or give me a delay on the deal. As a seller buyer it kills me to have this happen, but for me to make a thread about someone who backed out of a agreed deal, IMHO would be wrong, and not worth my time. And to red rep someone cause they for what ever reason changes their mind is very wrong. I'm just happy I didn't have to ship the cue or things or have them packed to find out the deal is off. FYI these are people I talked with on the phone for 20+ minutes each. But even though we didn't make the deal now, I'm sure almost everyone I deal with will deal again with me, or I will deal with them in the future.. If everyone was thinking like you then shit all these guys owe me lots of money.... And i have lots of shipping to do, Lol and I want it... Don't that sound crazy.... Well this is how you sound... But what do I know..... May I ask why are you in the red???? What did you do wrong? Also doing things like this with out communication will keep you red, and at some point kick you in the ass... You sound like the kind of guy I sell something too and and then you pick on every little thing, all you do is complain to me about it, and then drive me crazy... And when I had enough you make a thread about me.... Wouldn't deal with you.. But again just my 2 cents.... Dom:grin:

Which is why there should be a RULE that the first to post in the thread should get the cue. Not through some PM. This brings in all kinds of favoritism, quarrels, etc........................ How many times has this been covered here? And how many of these have we read? Being stupid is repeating the same things over and over again expecting a different result.

Absolutely should NOT be a rule. We're (allegedly) all grown ups here, if you can't accept that there is, always has been and always will be, favoritism in business...it's time to start doing your shopping only at retail stores.
I haven't sold anything here yet, but the day I'm told that I have no say in who I sell to is the day you guaranty I never will. You really want to be locked into selling to someone who is a suspected scammer because they posted first?



oh, and I second the motion that this should be moved to the main forum, not cluttering the FS section
 
It's quite astounding that blacklab9ball didn't realize what a boost this would be to nsafellow's reputation. Or did he? Maybe it's a conspiracy! :eek:
