Do you dream about pool?

If you are a true lover of the game, you can't help but not dream of it. I haven't played much at all in the last 8 months due to working 60 hours a week (snowed out today ;( ) but I still think about it almost every night when I go to bed. It helps me relax and keeps my mind sharp.

I used to always dream about 9 ball and patterns especially after long gambling sessions.....

Same thing used to happen playing video games for a long time especially Tetris:D

That's true. When I was learning how to type, I would dream every word in keyboard-ese. :p

Great Thread here. Hi, my name is Cole and i admit that i dream about pool alot. I have always wanted to dream about playing a pro, someone that is my hero like Allsion, Efren, Niels or even Earl. One night i did and it has been a repeating dream for me. Otaye i am matched up against Earl and i can't find my cue, i then find it and put it together and its not straight like the pin/joint is curved making the shaft at a angle. I play my first match and i wake up each time, weird huh. But the night before leagues i can't sleep at all LOL maybe to anxious for pool

CA,
Quit your dreaming, and get your a$$ to the next DCC. Pro's I've played against (or with) in the last 2 years at the AZB room include Efren, Buddy Hall, Dan Louie, Shawn Putnam, Jeanette Lee, George Breedlove, Chris Szuter, Dee Adkins. It's fun, and more dependable than dreaming.

I hear you loud and clear, and am planning on hitting up a event in the near future:D

We have a fellow in our pool room we call Farmer. Now Farmer is the nicest guy you will ever meet. He would not harm a Flea, but Farmer is a product of the 60's. He is always smiling, friendly, and will help any one with anything he can.

Farmer is though the closest thing to the character Jim on the TV show Taxi, that you could ever imagine. Just OUTRAGEOUS.

I walked into the pool room one afternoon and Farmer came over and was very excited about a dream he had the night before. He said that all night he had gotten to play,,,,, "Jesus Christ" Now this dream concerned me and to be honest I was rather reluctant to even listen as it made me a bit uncomfortable.

I did ask though, "Did you win"?

No, hell no, not even one single game, the Dude, can really play. He never missed a single ball and I told him he was getting lucky", He tells me!

" Well what made him so lucky" I asked?

Farmer then says, " when I called him lucky, he got pissed at me and shot a masse shot on every ball after that. He is the only person I ever played that got that mad"!!

" you never won a game" I ask?

" NO, NOT ONE SINGLE GAME, NOT ONE SINGLE @#$%^&* Game", and by now, he is very excited and then after some thought, he looks up at me and says,,,,,,, I'll see ya later, I'm going home and play him some more!!"

I never asked Farmer about his rematch with Jesus Christ, but I don't doubt a word he says as Farmer is incapable of a lie, and to be honest it is a subject which really concerns me. I can understand Jesus getting a little fired up at Farmer, but I don't want him fired up at me, as I have enough problems.

I just had to cover my mouth to keep from laughing at that. I'm at work, and I think the kids might think I was nuts, laughing while they take their tests.
