We at CSI are working on a new project :) to add to our pool offerings around the country. We would be greatful for your help... :)

WE ARE LOOKING TO COMPILE AN UPDATED LIST OF POOL ROOMS AROUND THE COUNTRY

So if you know of...any pool room that has the following please either respond to this thread or you can email me at holly@playcsipool.com

1. A room with at least 4 (9') tables
or
2. A room if they have 6 or more (7' or 8') tables

Need name of room, city, state and if possible contact info for manager or owner. But I can hunt that down if needed.

Thanks AZB family

Holly

In Tucson there is Pockets 22nd st and Wilmot, approx. 15 9ft Gold Crowns. Lenny owns it and is a supporter of pool and tournaments.

Also there is Click's Billiards at 1st Ave and Ft. Lowell, 4 9ft Gold crowns and about 10 8fters.

Boston Area

In the Boston area there are a few left:

Flat top Johnny's, in Cambridge, twelve 9' tables.

The Corner Pocket, in Waltham, probably about twenty gold crowns.

World Class Billiard, in Peabody, diamond 9' tables, and they have four heated Soren Sogaards billiard tables. equipment is very well taken care of.

few other places here and there but these are really the only worth noting.

The Sports Arena, Bangor, ME. (16 or 17) 9-footers

The Eagles Club, Brewer, ME. (5) 9-footers

Downeast Billiards, Ellsworth, ME. (8) 9-footers

Eastward Bowling Center, Ellsworth, ME (4) 9-footers

Shooters, Lincoln, ME. (8) or 10 9-footers

Club 301, Windham, ME (15 or 16) 7-footers, the only Diamond tables I've encountered in the state

Spot Shot Billiards, Portland, ME (at least ten) 9-footers

I know there are many more in the state of Maine, these are just the ones that I've played in myself.

Six Pocket Billiards
Sharkey's

Rancho Cordova, CA:
Diamond Billiards

Hi Duane, thanks :) I'm familiar with the site, and in the past several year's I'd had a rather extensive list of over 300 rooms that I put together for the NCS in 2008, but unfortunately many have not survived as well as new :) pool rooms have opened. I'm trying to make sure my list is as fresh as possible.

Peace and happy rolls :) Holly

Are you going to break down the list by free water and no free water?

lol...no, as ususally the non free water is bottled and that does cost the room owner. I do not blame them for charging. What I do blame, if you think about it, are the polluters who have made sadly much of our water around the world not the safest, thus a whole huge bottle water market exists. If our water was cleaner and safer, then we'd have more free water I think in pool rooms.

So...clean water = free water in pool rooms (sounds like a bumper sticker)
ok I'll jump off my environmentalist box now. :)
