Oops, troll.. You "outed" yourself! Never, in all my years of travelling to foreign countries (12 of them), and speaking to all the natives, European, Asian, or Middle Eastern, have I EVER heard a foreigner replace "have to" with "got to".

It is simply not taught in their schools. :D :D :D

This is a word usage that is specifically peculiar to America.

How about in the ivory thread when he uses "it's all good" and "kinda", along with a few others? What translator program is he running? Slang 3.1?

The last few post I made in the other thread was full of slang terms...and he caught everything..hmmm ... I noticed to "all good" in that thread to... he must have "babel snoop dogg" instead of babel fish :D


I asked him about 5 times where he was from .. no response... hmmm

Also, a class of 20 students from France came to the college here in Canada and none of them knew how to speak english lol.....

I am so not French.. but it is very similar to German... well somewhat similiar... I know its horrible.. but you understand it sweet.. you see the only way I am able to "type is b/c I have firefox ".. :D ...

I honestly woudlnt know the difference between Canda French and france french... and I do not speak french .. guess thats obvious... but I know enough to get a beer and a meal in just about every language out there ...

I'll admit that my first ever 2 threads on this forum was a mistake on my part, i kinda thought a screw on tip looked kinda cheap.. i should have just read about it instead of quickly making a thread but still there was some good humor in this thread.

And the first thread well, i should have phrased my tittle differently, i was just really annoyed of countless hours of looking for a cue and couldn't find one that didn't say ivory and i thought all the good cues were made with a dead elephant but it turns out it's not the case and i was simply miss informed but this forum put me on track about the subject.

I hope you all can take my apology and we can have a fresh start.
