It will cost you but If i had the funds, One person comes to mind and his cues are going to continue to increase in value. It gets no more old school than "Pete Tascarella"
He may be a very good cuemaker and I saw a similar cue he had for sale for over 1800. But you could get three of these Lee Peppers cues for about the same money.
Bunch of good choices, In that price range I like Paul Dayton and Jeff Olney, great cuemakers. Check the swap/sell board if you are interested in getting a used cue.
With a little more money I'd look at Richard Black, Tim Scruggs and Gina cues.
For my money ,Bob Owen makes the best cue for your money
great looks and playability,Gabe,Scott and Jeremy play them and no one is paid to play
with them
I also play a Bob Owen,but I wouldn't put myself in that league
