a pool player from Arkansas that called himself 'The Green Lizard'?
We're going back a few years on this one.
I've heard a couple of stories about him. One is that after winning all the cash he would hand the loser a card that said "You have just been hustled by The Green Lizard".
Any other AZers know of him or have any stories about him?

Jay,

It's so funny reading all of your post..... you know either a little or a lot about all the characters, past or present.

Thanks for staying around.

The stroke of the Lizard....

Jay,

Could that be Steve Smith aka Lizard?

Stones

I was at the Tulsa Billiard Palace maybe 5-10 years ago, and one of the golfers was talking to me about who had the "prettiest" stroke. Instead of debating me, he called out to a bunch of old timers who were playing cards or dominos around a table, some playing pool nearby. Maybe six or eight men. He turned and loudly asked "hey (so and so), who had the best stroke you've ever seen?" and almost unanimously they all said "Lizard!!!"
...it was really funny. I have never seen him in action. What is it about his stroke that is remarkable?
