Does everybody use a wrap?

I play with a cue with no wrap at the moment, I can play with a wrap though and really like leather. :smile:

I prefer no wrap. My hand does not feel as secure on a linen wrap. I feel like I'm going to fling the cue across the room like a spear.

Yeah...the potential spear is the wrap's fault. Shhuuuuurrrrr.

I would say that out of the 20+ cues that I own, most of them are wrapless.

I prefer to play with a wrapless cue. I find that most wraps just aren't tight enough and I don't like feeling the ridges in the wrap.

If you like a wrap instead of wrapless, yet you don't care for the ridges either, you could have someone like Joe Blackburn put a wrap on your cue. He does an amazing job! It's so tight and smooth that it feels like it's a wrapless cue, and it retains the classy look that wrapped cues have.

I like lizard wraps. Here is the order of what i like:

1. Lizard
2. Wrapless
3. Linen
4. Leather

Leather to me is the stickiest of all.
