I would say that out of the 20+ cues that I own, most of them are wrapless.
I prefer to play with a wrapless cue. I find that most wraps just aren't tight enough and I don't like feeling the ridges in the wrap.
If you like a wrap instead of wrapless, yet you don't care for the ridges either, you could have someone like Joe Blackburn put a wrap on your cue. He does an amazing job! It's so tight and smooth that it feels like it's a wrapless cue, and it retains the classy look that wrapped cues have.
