Those ferrules dont stay bright white so nothing more then a damp paper towel keeps them pretty good.

you can try Magic eraser sponge if water alone won't.

I have used toothpaste on mine.

Not only does it clean it up some, it makes it minty fresh.

Once you get it clean, put some wax on it and shine it.
