Like it or not, domains are virtual real estate. The value of any particular name is highly subjective. Single words tend to be more rare and valuable (ie: billiards.com would definitely be more valuable than billiardstoday.com). The dot-com suffix is usually more valuable than dot-org and dot-net, let alone dot-info or anything else.
