Dominant Eye Question

Sorry, No! Your'e just being disingenuous & doing that "T" thing.

I've been advised by a management member that I should ignore all such behavior.

Vaya con Dios.

When you learned the method for drawing the CB. Were you able to execute it perfectly every time right away without the need to practice?

Same applies to the vision center and the need to practice getting it correct. Especially if you've been doing it wrong for years.

Practice builds consistent habits. Good and bad.

Practice is not the same as drills.

Beibs, give it up, after all, you haven't been playing for over 50 years!

My grandfather lived until he was 89. He started walking at the age of 2. He walked for 87 years.... He still couldn't walk for s*** after a few glasses of whiskey. So that 87 years of experience counted for nothing.

Gene, Fran and CJ are Rick's whiskey.

When I taught there were staff members who because they had 30 years of experience thought that they knew everything there was about teaching and learning.

The problem was they made the same mistakes year after year.

They had 30 years of 1st year experience.

They are not the same & the analogy does not fit.

You may want to see my post in Pidge's thread in the main...

& then again you may not. That is entirely up to you.

Yes they are.

No they're not.

You're turn.

Vaya con Dios.

PS One is physical & one, Gene's manual mental process, is merely a conscious choice whether or not to implement the manual mental process.

And yes, once I was taught that a low hit with power made the ball draw, I did not need practice to make the ball draw. Controlling the amount of the draw was another story.

Ok..........

Keebie...Yeah mirrors are good until you move your head to "see" yourself. Mirrors are exceptionally valuable to check your cradle pressure and your stroke finish with your body from the side. Close up video analysis is better for head on views, because the eyes can stay on the line of the shot the entire time. Then you can see EXACTLY where the player perceives a straight line, and how they line their cue up to that image.

roger dodger and that i do have....certainly, just talking about the "Cheap" way lol.....was more talking about having a tall one in front of you that you can drop into your stance and tip to "tip" seeing how straight you are or how your are better yet.....to which i'm thankfully not that strange and am just beelined infinite vector line going both ways:thumbup:

i know operators and hands offshore with the same amount of experience....

i usually say....."put a retard on a platform for 20 years, he's only got 1 year experience 20 times over"

why do you need to use power to draw the ball? obviously from far yes....but just a draw shot? sounds like a decelerator to me.

You can try to nit pic all you want.

Power is a relative word, as in a stop shot vs. a full table or more draw while hitting at the same place on the CB, IF that is how one differentiates the two.

If there is one thing that I do NOT do... it is decelerate.

Perhaps your time would be better spent playing with the other Keebler Elves rather than trying to nit pic for your ulterior motive & agenda.

Sorry Mike.

One could have the most straight & consistently repeatable stroke ever in ALL of history...

& if they can NOT discern a straight line...

then they can not put that perfect stroke on a straight line & that perfect stroke is useless.

Gene never once told me to put the cue under any eye. I think there are a few that try to discredit him for some unknown ulterior motive or agenda or out of ignorance of what he actually knows & talks about.

All Best Wishes for ALL.

From what i have seen here on the forum, i have NEVER seen someone- especially from the instructors or well knowledged ppl i know from here, that they discredited Gene Albrecht in any case. Gene is a very well respected person here. And he knows his stuff.
The stuff which is being discussed here has nothing to do with Gene- it s just about people who read a bit here and read a bit there- without knowing a tiny tiny clue what htey re talking about- that s it.
