Has anyone played with the cue. I was looking on his website and it seems like alot of cue for $399. I would just like to know how they feel and play

A fellow here in town has a Dominiak cue. He's a good player and shoots very well with his and when he allowed me to shoot a few balls with it, it reminded me very much of a Predator. I'm not a big fan of Predators, but obviously many people love them.

Dominiak is strong for the money

I've had a Dominiak sweet 16 for the last two or three years and It's become my go to cue. I have a Predator cue as well. To me, there really isn't much difference in the hit. I've had more success with the Dominiak, so I guess it's one of those "it's all in your head" things. BTW, Mr. Dominiak is a great guy. I've emailed him and he has offered to give me cue building instruction. He backs his product 100% and he's a really good guy. I've got a mortgage, a wife, two kids, two car payments, two dogs....ect. For the money...you're not going to get a better cue or a more accessable builder. I guess some others are just as good but I don't have a very large body of experiance with custom builders. JMO.

I bought a bunch of William's cues... when he first started making them. The price was so good I couldn't refuse.

All of them are wrapless and all of them have a beautiful curly maple butt.

Anybody interested in buying a real good cue for not much money, PM me.

They are nice players for taking to the bar.

No, I haven't played with a Curly Deluxe. But the Curly Deluxe is a version of the Sweet 16. It is made the same way (radially laminated butt and shaft), except with curly maple in the butt instead of straight-grained maple. I own Sweet 16's and like how they play.

Shameless plug -- I have a new, unchalked Sweet 16 with veneer rings for sale at the present time, and it is now priced at $225, which is quite a savings compared to the Curly Deluxe for $400.

Recently bought one

I recently bought one. William had one nearly finished, but was able to adjust the shaft length, size, and tip to my specifications.

It shoots real nice. I've got an older 314 predator shaft (I usually shoot on a mcdermott butt), to me that is not similar.

I've stated in other places on AZ, it shoots very sweet as long as you stroke it well. It doesn't like you being lazy. However, when you put a good stroke on it... it is SWEET.
