Yeah, well I hope the Sub driver is better than the 7th fleet boat drivers. Four major Fk' ups in seven months.

Then to top it off I saw a navy guy say on TV yesterday that the damage showed that the warship had the right of way. Holy smokes! A tanker takes miles to stop or turn. Is this news to the navy experts? Rant over.

...oh, I was thinking something more like "empty", ya no, like at the bottom

he said, what's #16 hole? oh sh!t batman we're out!!

...ummm, carry on..

If the Russians want a spot, I'm sure the Captain could be talked into giving him the 7 and out. Also offer North Korea Orange Crush (5-ball).

For some reason I'm reminded of an old post....can't remember who...
"Yo mama couldn't sink a ball if it had cement shoes."

Well, this crew, every time they go on a mission, they sink them all.

Back when I served in the sub service, there was one boat that was painted up just like that one. The pic says this one is Ohio class, where as ours were Lafayette class. Which means that they carried on the tradition. Nice to know.

As to the 16th hatch markings, sorry, I don't remember if was white for a cueball, or something else painted on it. :(:o But, to be fair, it's also very possible that I never saw that hatch's markings as you either have to be on the sub, or have it facing the correct way for you to see it.

I bet it's the same one you remember, as it too is Lafayette class.

That is the USS Sam Rayburn SSBN 635.
