Before the cue ball gets 1/10th of the way to the object ball,

Why didn't I see it just a millisecond before that? What changed that allowed me to see it AFTER, not before, I hit the CB? I think, for me, it is the distance and since my lasik, my brain doesn't know that my astigmatism has changed for the better and it keeps thinking the OB exist in a different place than it really does.
I'd appreciate any help anyone here has.

IMNSHO, this is the reason why we jump up: because we already know we missed it.Before the cue ball gets 1/10th of the way to the object ball,

Mt 2nd favorite is when you know you stroked it as good as you can possibly stroke it, you hit the object ball exactly where you wanted to hit it.......
and you miss by 2 diamonds.
