JAM said:I met a Schon dealer in Louisville one year and asked him about the pronunciation, and he told me that it should be pronounced as "SHONE."
As an American, I've always heard it referred to as "SHON."
JAM
Edit: Just wanted to see if I could insert the double dots: Schön! Hey, I did it!
In Germany, as you said, it's close to 'shern."steev said:Schön is German for pretty. It's actually pretty hard to pronounce. closest i can spell is 'shern'. i pronounce the cue brand same as the name Shawn (like JAM)

I've said this before, and I guess I'll keep saying it until I'm blue. One of the reasons there's a discussion on how it's pronounced by the company is because they do pronounced it like Shawn. But here's the big kicker that people who don't travel or might not pay attention: Shawn is pronounced so different in different parts of the country. It's no coincidence that almost all the ways people pronounce Schön are also all the ways people pronounce Shawn.
Fred <~~~ pronounces it like Shawn
LOL!!! When I called him for an interview, he clearly (clear to me, LOL!!) said it with a short o. That's what I'm talking about. We all hear it and say it however our brains decipher it.magnetardo said:I stopped by their shop to have them i dentify a couple early cues once and Evan prononounced it with a long O like the word scone, I've been saying it that way ever since.![]()
