Double Full Splice?

I just saw this "sneaky pete" on the fleabay site and thought it interesting. I dont recall seeing a double full splice. (I guess thats what u call it, please correct me if im wrong)

I would not call it common, but it has been done before. Looks pretty good for the money.
 
I think one of My customers had a Viking that was very simular looking to that cue or maybe It was a Lucasi or fury like that one, not sure, but It is somewhat uncommon, although Like Chris mentioned It's been done, probably more then a few times.

Valley blank

I Made a cue out of a valley blank that was double spliced. I have only seen a few like it. Sorry i dont have any pics.
 
Nice looking sneaky. IF it were fat enough, I'd whack some of that in the top and sleeve it. Stick a 1ft long rosewood in the center on both ends.:P
 
Are any of the cuemakers on AZ set up to build a full splice like this?

am I the only one that think it looks ooogly? maybe if the woods were darker..

on the other hand, how do those fury sneaky petes hit ?
 
i think it would look much better if the points werent opposite of each other, have them offset to that the point of one, is at the valley of the other, if that makes sense.
