Download Youtube Video

Install Mozilla Firefox.

Go to Tools > Add Ons

Then search for YouTube downloader.

Install that.

There is an EZ way to do it.

1) let video load 100% in youtube (solid red bar).
2) open "temporary internet folder"
3) sort file list by file size (largest on top, your video when float to the top)
4) find your video (look for a youtube address)
5) copy & paste to wherever you want to save it (it will be in a .flv format)
6) watch with Media Player Classic (my preferred viewer)

I'e done this 100's of times. It's easy, quick, & becomes second nature once you've done it a few time.

Easiest way to do it:

Download Firefox.

Get the Ad on called "Download Helper"

Once you are at a website with streaming video it will make different colors and spin around. (Right by your URL bar) Click on it and download. Save it where you want.

If you don't really care how you view it download a little light weight program called FLV Player.

If your like me and want to actually use it download a program called "Xilisoft HD Video Converter" It may or may not cost you money. If you need a "evaluation product key" (If you catch my thrift) PM me and I mayyy be able to hook you up.

I use the Down Load Helper on FireFox, works great.
If you don't like the idea of down loading and using a different browser, Google: Free FLV down loader and Player. Lots to choose from, just take your pick.

If you don't want to install separate software or add-ons, go to www.keepvid.com ...it will give you downloadable links to youtube and similar sites for any video. You just do the usual right click, save as.

I'm for DownloadHelper also. I liked that Firefox add-on so much that I donated the authors of the software. Believe me, it works like a charm and not only with youtube videos but many varieties of flash video in the Net.
