You have 600 bucks, it is for pool cue(s). What are you going to buy? I picked 600 because I thought it was about what alot of us could spend on a cue. Know its about my limit at least.

You can't spend over 600, but you can buy multiple cues or cue and a case...so what would you get?

I'd go with a schon stl1 with two shafts which should eat up the 600 almost exactly.

I was about to say beer, but you told pool cues... okay.

I'd say Schon is the way to go here. There are a lot of not-so-famous cuemakers from whom I could get a really nice hitting basic 4-pointer for around $600 but don't know much of them. If I'd go for a Schon, I'd buy a LTD model.

Hmm, on second though, I'd buy Shorty's Blud sneaky pete and a basic Schon !

A cheap, but very nice Blackcreek like this one. After that i'd say a Schon or a nice Mezz.

I'd buy whatever Duke is selling.

LMAO...more than likely it would be a DZ, but not necessarily.

For $600 beans I'd go for a really juiced up inlayed Joss as a first choice and Helmstetter next. Schon is also a choice but not for me at $600. I need a higher budget and THEN we look at Schon. (Gee...I've done ALL of the above)

Fancy Not So SNEAKY PETE From a Famous Makers, and a Whitten 1 x 1 CASE[ to transport it. :p

DZ would be a fine choice IMHO

In fact now that you mention it I'm changing my mind and getting a dzuricky with my play money.

I'd buy a Titleist blank and a cheap Saturday Night Special.
Go to Murray Tucker's home and hold him hostage until he finishes the cue.
OK, I'd go with a Judd JT1 for $600.

Hey while your at Murray's could you snag me any finished cue he has?

A no frills Jensen or Mike Webb cue with enough left over to pay for table break in time. :)

Probably ...

Either a Jerico Break/Jump stick
or a Jacoby jumper

and

A Jim Murnak Vintage 2 x 4 leather case.

I think I'd go with one of the "Buska Tribute" McDermotts or the ones Cornerstone had made. On the other hand I can get Jacoby cues for about half price, so that 600 could buy a lot of cue...the afore mentioned Judd would be sweet too.

600 bones isn't a whole heck of a lot but I would have to say, if it's within the price range, a nice all bocote cue from Mike Webb.
He's done me plenty good on all the repairs I've asked and would love to be able to return the favor.

Koop

I would spend $30 on a Duffrin, $40 on a morri, $5 on a scuffer and $525 gambling!!

Koop,,, i also would go with a mike webb. but if 600 is not enough i would go with a very little known maker from syracuse ny named ron kadey of syra-cues.... ron only makes about a half dozen cues a year. but a nice 4 point cue with veneers and ring work with 2 shafts runs about 525.00........mike

After Mr. Peabody whisked me to 1981 in his Way Back Machine, I would use the money to cover the difference in what I could afford and what the guy was asking for a 4-point, 3-veneer, rosewood Gus.

The remaining $27 would be used as seed money for these two nerds named Paul Allen and Billy Gates, with the future gains going toward the medical bills I am currently incurring from banging my head against the wall for not buying the friggin' Gus when I had the chance!!  :p
