So I know a bunch of cue makers use DUPONT CHROMA CLEAR. Where is the best place to get it for the best price? For those of you that use it, do you have any problems with it or have any suggestions or tips? What # do you guys use?
Thanks,
Nick

Hi,

I use Dupont Concept on my high end cue and Dupont Omni on plain janes and sneaky petes. I buy my products from CarQuest locally.

I have never used Chroma Clear but would be interested in feedback on the product such as cost and other info concerning buffing and luster results.

I use ChroaClear HC-7776S Snap Dry Clearcoat. I let the cues set over night, before sanding & polishing, but I have sanded as soon as 3 hours, after spraying. I don't use any sealer. My 1st coat is my sealer. Spray the 1st coat, wait between coats til you can barely leave a fingerprint (about 3-4 minutes) & then spray again. I've used ChromaClear for 20 years & the Snap Dry for about 10 years. I love it, but IT WILL KILL YOU, unless you have good breathing equipment...JER
