DZ Cues Brazilian Rosewood Titlist Tribute

Bob didn't like the butt piece he had so he decided to swap it out for a more colorful and figured piece. How's that for customer service!!!

I asked Bob to use ivorine 3 at 6/10 length for one shaft and mason h's micarta at 6/10 for the other shaft.

LOL. I was going to have him make it bumperless, but since it's going to be my player I wanted the protection. Thanks for the comments.

Rob, so this is why I got your other DZ, cue huh? I thought you already had this one before but she looks like a great player. Congradulations my freind << ED

Well I'm going to have Bob make a PH Titlist Tribute using a prather full splice blank and it's going to be a wrapless. That one is going to replace the PH Sneaky you won in my raffle. I did have a BR one like this but with different colored veneers, this one is replacing that cue. Glad you like!!

WOW! That looks fantastic. REALLY nice job on that one.

I have a titlist cue now that I plan to 'convert' into, well into a cue actually- (so I guess that is not technically a conversion) but that is beside the point.

My question is to the maker really:

Where do you get the Titlist colored wide veneers? I think some ring work is in order (but I may just do silver rings) and if so, I need to have the best matching colors I can get.

Planning to post in cue maker section as well....

Thanks in advance if any information is forthcoming!

I had Dustin Cookson send hime the veneers. He is LosOsos Cues, and is a member on here. Look in the member directory to find his name and maybe some members can get you his info including phone number. I had it but have no idea where I put it.

Thanks for the info!

I have a note in to John Davis as well so we'll see what shakes out..

Thanks for the info!

plays well!

This cue not only looks awesome, but plays very nicely also! Bob outdid himself in this cue, though mine still plays better ;) Last night was fun Rob, come on back up soon!!

This cue really came out amazing. Was fun playing with you again and yes I'll make it back DOWN (not up LOL) sometime soon.

Great looking cue Rob!! Glad it was every thing you hoped for and more.

Thanks for the compliment. I truly do appreciate it.

I had the chance to meet two new azers yesterday. Slim and Curly are their names on here. I saw Slim's titlist conversion Bob did and what a great job. Nice cue. Also saw the ebony player Bob built for curly. Bob's work is fantastic on every cue I have seen, or ordered!

After meeting at Bob's to pick up the cue and talk/play some, we headed to Gold Crown Billiards in Erie, PA which is about 15 min from Bob's. We ate lunch, and then played for a few hours. My cue hit's em a ton. I really like the way it plays and looks. Again, another perfect cue/field trip/experience.

Curly, thank you so much for letting me play with some of your cues. I really enjoyed your company and hospitality.

Slim, when are you going to sell me your titlist conversion? LOL.

Jeff, it was great to see you, and your GF again and play. Your kid is adorable!

Glad I was able to donate towards the purchase. I fitted the other DZ with a Dominiak Shaft I had lying around and it plays quite well. Not as good as my PFD titlist...but still nice! Actually my titlist was sent to Paul for a new elephant ear wrap and radial pin joint. I should get it back by this Friday. Very anxious to get it back!
