Eagle Eye Takes Aim at 14.1 High Runs

Through 16 racks now — is that 3 200s and 1 300 run for the day?
233/234/246/294/344 and that is just the runs over 200 in the very 1st day. I'd say the best anyone has ever seen on the 1st day of any player or maybe any day at all especially considering Jayson and every other player that has ever played 14.1 except for about 5 players ever have tried to run balls with unlimited attempts and before anybody questions that last part Ive talked to many of the top players of the past and current if they ever tried or knew anyone that has. I'd imagine all the negative people on AZbilliards or haters that said Jayson wouldnt top Shanes 308 wont admit they were wrong but then again they would never bet a nickel either.

How long did he play for on day 1? Was it about 12 hours? Dude is a beast.

his lifetime high run relative to what he achieved in one day shows that he can't possibly have been playing 14.1 very often. this can get really interesting.

did you find out who that russian kid was that you talked about in the turning stone stream?

It’s not this guy is it? Super talented.

Did you talk to John Schmidt to see if maybe he did any runs like that, or if he knew anyone that has? I'd bet a nickel John has more 300 and 400+ runs than Jason will ever see even in his sleep, let alone what you've ever seen! Would you bet $10K on Jason againt John in a race to 2000? Settle down Bobby, Shaw is only the 4th player on your show so far, many more to come, right?

Just to be fair, I predicted Shaws high run to be about 318, so I'm only off by 26 points so far, and I made that prediction before he even showed up, so I am impressed somewhat so far.

The real question is:

How much is JS secret video worth of Shaw breaks the record?

Real question, not busting balls or taking a side. Just stirring the soup a bit…..

Fatboy🤠
one of the underlying motivating factors in play regarding this whole series, of course... not THE factor, but its in there, down the list somewhere 😉

Not ungrateful over here, enjoying the show, thankyouverymuch. Just an observation.

Oh you mean the 360 then 400 kid? 12 year old they said. That would be only 400 successful strokes...
I’m not sure what you’re point is. They said he’s a Russian snooker player. Boiko is in a former Soviet state.

Are you suggesting a maxi is easier than a 300 ball run? I tell you what, we’ll each pot 20 straight long pots off the blue spot, me on a pool table, you on a snooker table. I’ll put $10k up that I pot more than you do. I’ve run hundreds in snooker, billiards (on actual snooker tables, not 10 foot square cuts) and 14.1. From what position of authority are you able to compare the two sports?

And I thought he was 21, not 12. I’m not sure how old Boiko is now, but there are videos of him at 15.

I don’t even know what the f*&^ you’re talking about. All I did was suggest a possible young snooker player from that part of the world that may have been the player they were referring to.

It is entertaining I'll say that for this event.

It don't take much to get on attack list on AZB😅

And yet another 200+.
Well I said I hope I am wrong and I was. What we saw yesterday is a testement to just how good a player he is. He is playing straight pool ass backwards and has the skills to get away with it.

Remember, one of his attempts he scratched off the rack on his own ball in hand break shot posting a run of (zero).
He plays the game from every practical standpoint terrible.

From break shots, to patterns, to hitting shots a hundred miles an hour that should just be rolled in. Forget stop, stop ,stop position play, his cue ball may cover more then a dozen yards in just one rack.

It's quite the remarkable exhibition. I look forward to seeing just what he will be able to accomplish. I'll have that shit sandwich now, hold the mayo.

And yet, correct me if I’m wrong, from watching him quite a lot yesterday, he seems really fixated on getting a perfect side break ball. Like, I’m sure I saw numerous times when he attempted to or did nudge a ball into a position he liked better (which for him seems to be the classic half way between rail and pack to leave a 1/4 quarter break shot). But that ball was already in a decent position, and he took a risk of messing everything up to do it.

But for everything else he just accepts it and smashes it in the hole 😂
