Earl and Ronnie - 96 Mosconi Cup

Wow. I jumped around a bit. The announcers call the unruly fans "idiots" ha ha ha. They couldn't get away with that in today's PC world.

The cloth... is that snooker cloth? It seemed all wrong. Either there was drift from snooker nap, or that table was way out of level. Any ideas?

The announcer has a way with words...LMAO.

”C.J. Wiley allows himself a drag on a fag.”

Looks like Matchroom Pool has uploaded more matches from that year's MC.

Ronnie v Massey -

Ronnie v Hopkins -

Ortmann v Daulton and Ronnie/Steve Davis v Earl and CJ

Ronnie Talks about it. He hadn’t played the game previously and says he forgot the rules a couple of times.

Today, 24 years later, playing in the final against Mark Selby in The Scottish open. I ruled him out 2 years ago, then he proved me wrong by winning another World Championship.

First two racks Ronnie missed a one rail kick. In snooker they put the balls back where they were and try again. In 9 ball it's a different story.

I'm surprised young straight shooters like Filler and Gorst play pool instead of snooker considering the money to be made in snooker.

Neither could make it through Q school qualifiers and elevated into the top 128 rankings. Even the top German Snooker players are only ranked in the 90’s. The best American style pool men’s players will likely be Increasingly lured over more to Chinese 8 ball as cash prizes increase.
