i just got back from this, left right after bj won the first set. Packed room, both guys didnt look like they were on top of their game as youve read from some of the posts, have to like bj in this one with the spot.
Also just wanted to say i met drater and he seems like a nice guy, and it looks like he is going to have the action room in the area the way hes going. Some nice looking women, some great food, lots of bets flowing and then you got bj, earl, chewbacca and mike fuller floating around there........shooters is definitely going to be my new home

Sorry, was running around taking care of bar duties. It's back to even now. I haven't been paying attention for awhile and somewhere along the way Earl stopped missing.
Okay, now Earl is up by one for the first time since early in the first set. We're gunna be here until next weekend.

GEEZE, great pool action, NICE LOOKING WOMEN, some great food, betting every where you look and players galore. My God, you guys are making me sick. Don't worry it;s just the alcohol talking. Thanks for the insights. If i am ever up that way I would have to draft by and meet drater. Sounds like a good pool room owner. Glad he chose to make this public and VERY GLAD it came to pass when others and probably myself included, doubted it would come off.
Regardless, I hope BJ tells Earl that he can get played even up for two more sets at another bag of sand per set. That would be upright of BJ to offer IMHO. He matched up with a little advantage his way this time. If he plays Earl even up after beating him two sets with the 7 ball, it could mean great things for his game or at the least give Earl a chance to compete at an even game. Anyway you slice it, it has been fun. Drater, buy the players a drink for me and it don't have to be Crown. Give them the domestic stuff.

Got to say that Eric & Trevor have a nice setup and want to say Thanks to them both for their efforts putting this together. The whole event is being handled very well, food's good, got some nice tight tables also. Some are double shimmed and the table Earl and BJ are on is triple shimmed. Great place to play!!

I'm thinking they finish the night even....
Some back-n-forth around zero and now Earl is up by 1 game. His break is working and he's got that look in his eyes like he'll never miss again.
He just played a great safety on the 6 ball and BJ is analyzing the table. Again, BJ only needs to get to the 7. BJ is measuring up the angles w/ his cue and misses a 2rail kick on the six.
Earl has BIH and is my favorite to get out this rack. If he does, he'll be up 2. And he did.

Earl breaks dry, BJ shoots a couple of balls and scratches. Earl w/ BIH again. Missing doesn't seem to be an option right now. Earl is playing seemingly perfect pool.
