I think azer ''deanoc'' was looking for an old Runde style cue. Maybe try sending him a PM.
Good looking cue you got there & GL with your sale.

Man I want that cue... I bet it hits a TON!!!... This is in my opinion the prettiest Schon ever made very classy and elegant yet it still has that old school look and feel!!! Good luck with your sale....

This is certainly one of the best examples I have seen,I may be showing my ignorance, but is this cue one of those commonly referred to as a Runde. And a second like question, what does the metal vs stitch ring tell us

Thank you for referring him to me,I am looking for some sharp point cues,in fact I bought 6 of them in the last 2 weeks, but most are Runde cues.

If I were an az person wanting that 1 perfect Schon classic,I would look no further than this one.

best wishes to buyer and seller on this prime example

To answer your question and the nickel vs stitched ring at the time nickel was a "upgrade" it is also rare to see to different color veneers on a r12.
This is a fantastic cue for sale and shouldn't take long to sell. Good luck with your sale!

The nickel ring was an upgrade pre 85 IIRC and standard after. The shafts are 1993 shafts.

Thanks for the comments guys

Thanks for the comments guys. I have corrected the description to reflect the shafts not being from the original era, sorry about that, thanks for the info PDX.

R12

If I were in the market for another R12 I would be all over this one. Also notice the boxes on the butt sleve are not mitered. Makes it a whole different look up close and personal. Good luck with the sale!

No, the shafts are from 1993. I love the old shafts but I really like the 93s too.
Does anyone know if they were made from an older stock of wood? Sure feels like it.

Thanks again for the great comments

Appreciate all your guys positive comments. yes she's a rare beaut. Have received quite a few PM's from potential wannabee buyers put nobodys pulled the trigger. Need to sell kinda fast.

Thank you for the R12

All those that passed this cue up, missed out.
The cue is a Monster. It was described to a tee as far as condition.
Cal is the best to deal with.
