Well that place looks like the most uninviting expo center on the planet. That being said, tables look amazing and I cant wait to get there tomorrow!

I agree. I really hope it looks better once it is finished being set up. The old place never felt uninviting like that picture.
 
It should look much better once they get the table lights hung and turn down the ceiling lights :rolleyes:;).

Tables do look pretty cool. Just need to hide the structure.

I'd rather have a hanger ceiling than sore legs from walking up/down those stairs all day long. That, and stinking like sausage sandwiches from the grease-steam coming from the concession stands to the playing area 20' away.

The last convention center didn't do a great job with the bathrooms either. I have HIGH HOPES for this new venue and I'll give it a fair shot--- not based on the picture of the ceiling.
 
The bathroom in the VIP section wasn't horrible last year. Not great, but certainly better than the one in the main room.

Hanging curtains on the walls would greatly improve the look and feel. They have done so at The US Open. Maybe they plan to?

Its a crap hole..however it is huge.....not so sure very many people are going to like it...but there will be plenty of vendors and tons of diamonds..so i will not pass judgment on the event however the convention center sucks

what do you guys think an expo center is supposed to look like before it is set up??

I used to do trade shows in pittsburg pa, cleveland oh & indianapolis ind.

It looks pretty much standard to me.

Well it certainly is big. Do the table move around on that concrete if you lean on them? What about seating is there enough? Can you see your favorite players if there is no elevated seating? Just asking. Never been there before I just have done DCC. Do you have to feed the tables?
