Easiest hard shot.

Long and straight... it's embarrassing  Still working on fundamentals 101: staying down after the shot, good follow-through, don't hold to far back on the butt-end, work on eye proper eye patterns... I'll will that SOB to that back of that pocket eventually!!

Thanks Timmy. I'm right there with you.

For me it's a slight cut shot on a ball sitting on or near the spot.

Just to clarify, I don't mean that you have to miss the shot more than half the time. It could be that you miss it one out of five times for a shot that seems like it should be medium difficulty. Or one out of 15 times for a shot that seems like it should be a hanger.

a slight and i mean slight cut to the right......i will pound that shot right into the left point til the cows come home.......

No particular shot for me, but I believe it is true that " the hardest shot in pool is the easy shot after you have made a hard shot."

So easy to lose concentration after making a difficult shot.

spot shot right to left-left to right is easy, but the other way is brutal for me and its the same shot.

I can't tell you how many balls I've missed in the past that were hanging in the pocket and were so deep on the shelf that when I tried to go rail first, I missed hitting the ball completely. It's usually due to laziness that I won't go around the table to actually check to see just how deep in the pocket the ball is. I've even done this on the nine-ball (in a game of 9-ball) with ball-in-hand :embarrassed2:. I haven't done this in quite some time now as I've learned to expend a little energy and go have a closer look at the hanging ball.

Controlling the cb when it is very close to the ob, impeding the normal follow through. :banghead:
