I browse Ebay for certain Custom cues, today a Huebler from Pauls Custom shows listed. However, it was in bad condition, they came with two shafts this one only had one. The guy was asking almost $3500 for the cue when its value in the current condition was closer too $1500. In the future, I will keep my open for you, please do the same for me.
Huebler prices have gotten stupid, especially the Custom Shop cues. I have a few Hueblers, and snagged a couple lately in great condition for a bargain. But you have to be fast. I grew up outside St. Louis, Missouri and Paul’s shop was located in Linn, Missouri. The owner of the pool room I used to frequent took me out there in 1972 for the first time and Paul gave me a tour of his facility. My, first Huebler was a custom Chessman with two ebony shafts. At that time Huebler cues were the only cues I purchased in the 1970s, I bought a different cue from his custom shop every until 1979 when joined the Army. Now, I have 8 models from his custom shop, cues from his custom shop are all I purchase today. So if I see any production cue that are reasonable and nice models I will let you know.

I totally understand my, friend there currently 3-Cues from the Custom Shop listed. I can’t purchase any right now, because of the Ivory. The Korean Government is cracking down on everything coming from the United States, because of Trump’s bullshit Tariffs on South Korean goods. Until, that blows over all I can watch, which I will continue to do.

Yeah, that's why I said Huebler prices are crazy. Other sellers see those and post higher asking prices. It's changing the market.
That’s the problem with the current market, and that’s why almost all those cues will not sell. Then, at some point in the future the prices will correct and those who do buy will be stuck with cues that lost their value, kinda sad, but a sucker is born every minute.
