Ebony Lomax Cue - Just Delivered!

i read most of the post earlier, and from what i read i agree with dakota. if you guys got a near completely different cue than you CUSTOM ordered, then you would be in the same boat. dont knock a man because hes not with the fact that the respected cuemaker didnt make his cue to his specs. i would be very upset if i got one other than the one i ordered. the cue needs to be sold, so regardless of the fact that you are butthurt about what dakota said about steves work. i personally have never seen a lomax cue in person, so i canr judge, im just tired of seeing people bash someone else for not being happy. i could understand if they had not agreed on a refund, or if steve would have said as is for the cue, but thats not what happened. i understand that a few of you may have talked to steve on the phone, and think hes this super nice guy, but the reality is that you dont know him from me. im not saying hes not a super niv=ce guy, but for all you know he could be one of those cue makers that thinks his cues are the best thing to come off a lathe. yes dakota could have said a few things differently, but thats life. look, the bottom line is, you either want the cue or you dont, end of story. good luck with your sale.

I totally agree with Rusty. Dakota might have worded things differently, and
maybe done a few things differently, but heres the bottom line. If he gets the
$ 650 he's asking for the cue, hes in the hole $ 150 plus shipping on this brand
spanking new cue. He must feel pretty strongly about what went down. He's
already taking a hit on a cue that everyone seems to love, and speak highly
of. Please let him sell the cue and take the hit. All the extra stuff is just
hurting his chances of selling this cue. Honestly, to me the cue looks great,
but not my style. It looks like Mr. Lomax did fix every issue with the cue,
except for the fact that the ebony is dyed instead of the original request of
non dyed dark ebony. Good luck with the sale Mike. From the looks of it,
someones getting a hell of a deal on a brand new cue.

Thanks guys.

Somebody will be getting a great deal on a very nice cue, and I hope it's the best player they ever had!

People forget that during the times of Martin, Balabushka, Szamboti, Peterson, Spain, and Paradise (just to name a few), there was no such thing as AZBilliards.

Point is, I'm sure they couldn't please everybody and I'm sure they made mistakes as well. So let it rest, peeps.

Man, I LOVE ebony cues. So clean and classy. If there was even a little ivory on this cue, I would def consider it.

Bump for a classy cue.

Good luck with the sale

Glad you have resolved your issues with the cue maker and the cue. Life's to short to sweat the BS. This cue will sell itself.

I think this site is pretty great, up until people gang bang somebody for their take on something or having an unpopular emotional reaction.
