Ebony, Silver, Ivory, Recut Points

Just completed this cue. Has Ebony with Holly spliced points recut with Ebony in both forearm and butt, silver rings, silver dots, ivory inlays, turquoise ring (Mrs. Andy Gilbert told me this is called a Chicago style ring), leather wrap, three shafts, custom joint protectors. It also has a very happy camper - the buyer camped out on my pool table for about 5 hours playing then left late and drove 250 miles home in the dark and snow storm so he could play all the next day.;)

Wow

Those are some great cues you have there Mr. Madden. I really like how you go about your cue making.

I agree with Marcus about turquoise, but it really works in this cue.

Very, very nice work, Mr. Madden.

i was thinking the same on the tourquoise, but as they said it is still a very nice cue.i like the butt sleeve design.

Once again, turquoise is not my cup of tea but this cue is very nice.
Love the silver work in this one.

Thank you all. That turqoise ring would be cool if it was Ivory, but since turquoise was one element the owner insisted on being in the cue it was built with it.

Very nice cue Jack. I like the curls on the shafts and the shorter than normal SS Joint Collar.

You certainly have become a master cuemaker Jack. If I were still active
I sure know where I'd get my next cue. May work with you on one
anyway, I've sure sent money after a lot worse things than a good
quality work of art.

San Jose Dick took me to my first world tournament when I was 15 years old!!!! You didn't need to - but you did. You want a cue, I will build you the best cue I can and you sure don't need to ever send any money.

If the cue were available, I may have to chase after it.
Love the way the design came together...Even with the turquoise.

It dangerous remembering him playing. Makes me want to just chuck it all and go play:D

Nice work there, I like how the lines don't quite reach the ends. Make a mean football game too :-)
