Bruin,

Did you get permission from JoeVan at classiccues before using his scans? Shame on you if you didn't.

Hope you know I'm just giving you $hit. Fairly certain that Joe won't mind you using his pics, but god forbide if it were someone else's pictures.......... LMAO :D :p :D

Ed does some AWESOME work btw, doesn't he?

he sells all his high end to asia or on demand clients.

How do Ed's cues hit? Even his plain cues are really expensive-

thx bruin

PM if you want my opinion or about a cue. Also, Martin (jazznpool) also has some of Eddie's cues for sale. He is a solid player and can give you another opinion. I play with a Prewitt, and I honestly can't imagine playing with anything else. I love it that much... Or just maybe, a fancier one. :D Oscar

Here's a few more basketweave design rears.

I guess it is LMAO Funny with a bunch of silly faces, except for 2 things.

1) Joe doesn't own those pictures or those cues, and he didn't have a deal with Bruin to keep them private.

2) They are for sale and by stealing the pics it only advertises them more, thus helping out the seller. Where as in the other case the photo was not his and a private photo of cues NOT intended to be used for sale.

Of course being a salesman like you are Sean I wouldn't expect you to understand any of it, specially not keeping your word.
LMAO LOL LOL LOL LOL :-) ;) :D :) :p

WOW!!! That's fun, kinda like 2nd grade all over again.

Hey, dude....you're in a no-spin zone. Jim, you can't have it both ways. This is your baby anyway.

1. The scans were created by classiccues, therefore the images are theirs by right (this is of course using yours and others' logic from the previous thread where you exploded about the PTM pics). Must say that in theory, this is also logic that I happen to agree with. Bruin used them without authorization...plain and simple. But there was obviously no harm intended or done. Right now you could see where another AZB poster in another thread used some of our site scans to create his dream Gilbert. Again...this is not a problem with me...but I'm not uptight about things like that, especially when there's no harm intended. Things could always be done better.

2. I cannot believe you would even write this. You must be drunk right now. You know that it doesn't matter one iota if the cues are for sale. What matters is 1. (above).

BTW, I just posted this to drive home a point....and it worked. Funny how somebody points out the truth ina situation and then you backtrack and interject a bunch of crap just for arguement's sake. And just to keep a personal vendetta going. And your reply does sound a little bit like 2nd grade. Nice to see you regressing to your childhood. We all do from time to time, including myself.

Good day, sir.

You are wrong. I never defended Bruin or said he was right. He stole those images, he's wrong I am consistant on that. But the 2 are not the same, sorry you can't see it. the pics he stole were out there for public viewing the others were private and meant to stay that way. Also something for sale is meant to be seen how else would you sell the item, Classiccues (not Joe) would want as many people as possible to see them. Bottom line stealing images that aren't yours is wrong, but in certain cases the owner may not mind, and it's only stealing if the owner thinks it is.

You also never said he was wrong, until this post. As far as the second line thats YOUR side of the story. Pool Table Magic (not Joe) could care less how many people see them, since they are not on the site for sale.

No, stealing is stealing, regardless what I think. It's just I don't care.

The funny thing is I think you feel you have some ground to stand on here. I never said it was wrong because I don't have to anyone with a brain knows stealing is wrong Joe, that doesn't need to be said. But of course some people (read you) feel that if you blur the line enough you can defend stealing. Everyone knows stealing is wrong, my comments were made in reference to your pal Sean's attempt to drag me in to yet one more thread. You salesman types really have no clue of right and wrong do you? I see another one trying to Jump in in a post after this LOL peas of a pod I guess.

As far as the second line thats YOUR side of the story. Pool Table Magic (not Joe) could care less how many people see them, since they are not on the site for sale.

You could care less?? Ok then why the need to post nonsense here??

No, stealing is stealing, regardless what I think.

I see for once we agree on something, seems you may have some morals after all, but only a fool like you feels a need to point it out. What revelation will you make next Joe?? Killing people is Bad?? LOL Thanks for pointing out the obvious.

It's just I don't care.

Joe

Once more I guess I'll point out that nobody cares if you care or not, it's wrong, but they aren't your cues or your pictures. Seems you never tire of playing make believe. Much like always you are giving out your opinion in a matter that really doesn't have anything to do with you, But as always you need to be in the spotlight, so typical Joe V again LOL.

By the way Joe if you care or not won't change the fact that stealing is wrong :-)

Hey Bill I know you're the rookie just trying to fit in the club, but you've got more class then this, butt out or jump in and we can have some real fun.

BTW I drink very much and even at my most drunk I am aware that stealing is a bad thing.

Het bru, stop with the edits, this isn't about you, sean decided to make it about another old topic. He made a false claim that you stole these pics from Joe and wanted a comment, he got one. :-) But still Joe and Sean aren't really to sure if it's ok to steal, seems since both companies they work for try to do it so often they try to defend it as much as they can.

Bruin, don't worry. I know you can read. Jimbo says I accused you of stealing the images from Joe. Anyone with an education beyond the 2nd grade can read and understand that is not the case. Jimbo cannot, however, because his own comprehension shows that he never made it past 2nd grade.

The point to be made here is Jimbo's. Classiccues created those images and in reality the rights for their use would be theirs (if I'm understanding the old thread correctly). Most people seemed to agree. Now, just because Joe's name was brought into the mix, Jimbo wiggles and squirms, backtracks and puts on his usual spins, just for the sake of an arguement.

It's probably fine using the pics, but not because Ed gave them to you. Acording to the old thread's subject material, they would in theory still classiccues' unless they were given to Ed with an understanding they could be used publically. (And this may have even been the case...nonetheless, it's not about you or the pics, it's about the point).
