Ed Wheat...lets get it on...

This has nothing to do with your credibility it may just be a simple "shading of the truth" on Eddie Wheat's part, so try not to overreact nobody is attacking you.

Understood Neil. Here's a picture of Blackjack holding Charlie's cue. You can also see Eddie's CNC in the background:

TELL HIM TO PUT IT DOWN BEFORE SOMETHING HAPPENS TO IT!!!!

Just kidding, it looks nice from here I hope it finds it's home soon. Wasn't there supposed to be some green shafts or something like that on the cue? Will have to search to find out what kind of special shaft wood took so long, I'm just happy this is close to being delivered.

I don't know the whole story Neil  I do know the cue exists and it's almost done. I'm the one who took the pic of David holding it.

Eddie, why didn't you just sell your CNC machine on craigslist and spare everyone the unnecessary drama?

You've already rejected some incredibly generous offers from AZ members, so there is no point for anyone else to step forward.

Good luck, Eddie.

I have NOT rejected anyone's offer !!

And I do NOT want to sell the CNC mill... there is plenty of equity in it to borrow 2500.00 against it and I won't sell it for less than 10.000.00 and I know for a fact that I can get that for it if ever forced into that position....

It is part of my cuemaking business and just becasue I haven't used it yet doen't make it invaluable to the point that I'm going to give it away... besies if I sold it for 2500.00 than that means it costed me 12500.00 to pay a 2500.00 loan... that's just plain illogical !

As I said before... if I owed 2 to 3 times more money than I would have NO choice but to sell it becasue then there would be no loan value left on the CNC.... but considering the small anount of money I'm requesting and notice I'm not asking for anymore than what I owe... so I feel that should be a reasonable and practical request regardless of it's nature... I'm asking for a business loan NOT a personal loan and I think that is a very important aspect of my plight, especially since I do not want to be taken advantage of when it comes to my business equipment due to a personal matter....

I really appreciate the offers from fellow AZr's and it really puts things in a different perspective on my personal opinions of quite a few who has offered to help... I AM working on coming up with the money locally so that I do NOT have to transport my CNC out of town for many many reasons....

My cue business IS my life and my life IS my cue business and even though we are talking about a very very serious issue here.. it's only 2500.00 and I would rather lose all my life than live with the other half paralyzed....and if that doesn't tell you guys how serious, passionate, physically and soulfully connected I am about "wheatcues" and "east coast cue repair" than I don't how else to explain it... coming up with 2500.00 wasn't and isn't the problem here, coming up with 2500.00 in 7 days is ! and the judge knew that when he gave me the ultimatum and is now waiting to see if I do something illegal out of desperation and get in trouble becasue of it so he can throw the book at me.. this is a simple test... I either pass it and probation is over and I'm a totally free man or I fail and lose everything !

I can afford the justice.. it's only 2500.00 I just wasn't expecting to have to come up with it in one week and this is where the problem lies !

Thanks again for all the support and serious attention you guys are giving my situation !

That a really nice photo.... I like it alot !!!!

"And I'm in that picture as well, without having to post my ugly mug and ruining it" !

But seriously folks.. it IS a really beautiful cue, it's my VERY FIRST 8-pointer and I am proud to have made it.."and it's hard to let it go !" but I know Mr. Edwards is going to feel completely different about all of this once he receives it !

Ed you have an interesting way of looking at things. You say you only had 7 days to come up with the money. Get real! You say it would cost you 12500 to pay off a 2500 loan if you sold your cnc. That would only end up that way if you dont hold up your end of the bargain. IMO if the courts cant get you to live up to your word and pay your fine when you had years to do it. Why would someone think you would pay them double that amount in less time? How stupid do you think people are? WOW IS ALL I HAVE LEFT TO SAY. BVal

You're right... I DON'T hold grudges. I learned long ago not to. It doesn't do any good. Eddie, I hope you get out of this jam you're in.

I hope Eddie that you get everything squared away, you had years to pay the money,it usually works by the month so you have neglected it for awhile and you know that.I think it will work out and you will get it paid but I think to be honest you should take a week off the forum and focus your time and energy to accomplish the jobs you were paid for. ;) BTW the cue looks great and I am sure Charlie will love it when he has it,I hope he does after all of this.

8-pointer? I am no expert but judging by how many points you can see in the picture I would figure the cue has only 6 points. Either way it's very sharp looking and at that price it's very reasonable, hope Mr. Edwards likes the cue when he gets it. It even makes David look sort-of like a player with it in his hands.............sort of. =)

Maybe there is a bunch of little points on the other side ;-)
Just kidding - it does look nice though!

Letter to Eddie

Dear Eddie,

Have you no shame? Where's your pride?

You may be a burgeoning quality cue-smith and a swell dude. But I truly don't give a rat's ass if you're boning the pope's daughter. That's TMI Eddie (as is so much else you choose to put out there). YOUR actions have lead to a huge chunk of your life being on display here - WTF? Glasses off time Eddie.

IMO, you need to see a shrink and perhaps in combination with med's you can get it together. I am dead serious. Is any AZBer in the psych field willing to offer a more qualified opinion? Your wires are crossed. Your logic, your contradictions, your beliefs, your valuatiuon on life, your denials, your history, your incessant drama, your flip-flops, your wacked out justifications, your need to reply to the slightest AZB prompt, and your unaccountability displayed in your responses clearly show to me that you have psychological issues.

I sincerely hope you can turn your life around and focus on your productive passion. Please seek qualified help that can mill into your core.

As sincere as I can be in the wake of AZB's '08 train-wreck of the year,

Matt

I was referring to the offers I received asking to sell it for 2500.00 via phone calls as well as an offer on here !

This is a very serious situation I'm in here and I have 1 week to come up with 2500.00... it wasn't years to begin with !

LIke I said before " I made a bad business decision" expecting the refiniance of our A.R.M. to cover the bill becasue the governments is sooooo willing to approve fixed rate mort. I didn't think it would be a problem.... and this is what I get for puttin the proverbial "carriage before the horse".... Yes I screwed up and now I'm trying to fix it !

My intentions are purely sincere and once again I did NOT SOLICIT ANYONE HERE ON AZ for assistance with my problem... the post was copied and pasted here from where I DID advertise on MYspace bulletin section which I thought my friends's list were the only viewrs who could view it !

Needless to say this was a blessing in disguise because I have several offers from fellow AZr's to help me out of this jam becasue of it...

I'm just trying to exhaust all my leads and prospects before taking anyone's offer up from AZ and also would like to try to keep the CNC as close to home as possible for many many reasons...

I'm not asking for a hand out or to be chastized for screwing up... This is a business deal and I want to keep it as professional as possible which is why I'm offering a nice return on the investment and also using business equipment to secure the transaction !

I just wanted to clear the air so there's no misconceptions here and/or tarnish the situation and effecting the efforts of these very generous AZ'rs who are going out of thier way and offering to help me out in such a short short notice !

Very Sincerely, Eddie Wheat

How long have you been on probation and known you had to pay this money Ed? This is not a business deal at all. This is a loan to get you out of a personal jam! It is nice that people are willing to help you but again I feel they are taking a huge risk in loaning you anything. Are you going to hope for a refinance to pay back them as well? Anyways - Good luck - tomorrow is D-Day. I will either see you tomorrow or 5 years from now.

Yesterday Eddie posted that he had 1 week to come up with the money. Sounds like maybe he got an extension??

Maybe a little more compassion and kindness to another human being is in order. Everyone of us has things that happen to us by our own hand. The factors that shape a person are vast and varied. It is how a person deals with it that makes them better in the long run. How many of us would like our past put up for all to see and comment on in this manner. I for one, wouldn't want my mistake and bad behavior out there for all to see. I think Mr. Wheat has made mistakes and although he is trying to make good on his word, he still thinks in some of his old ways. The people that have pointed out these old ways are actually helping him to see a more positive way to deal with life and all of the ups and downs incured. We are a family here and watch each other with a close eye. I have many thoughts about some of the other dramas unfolding before our eyes. I choose to wait and see and also reserve judgement. Because in all reality it is not my place to judge anyone else. That goes to a higher authority and better left there. As Rodney King said; Can't we all hit a bong... Oh wait! That was Tommy Chong... Sorry...

Lets just help each other in this fvcked world... what do you say?

Dwight
