Thanks for the heads-up.

Looks like it's 8-4 Reuben right now, though Reuben just missed a pretty easy 8 ball to gave up a game.

Edit: Reuben is up 7-4 right now.

I believe that is 6-4 and they are racing to 17.

And,... they are only playing one race.
 
Now it's 8-4 Reuben. Edgie does not look comfortable. Neither does Reuben, but getting that spot I think tends to loosen you up a bit.
 
ruben just got 3-fouled. edgie is now on the lead 10-9. Daniel, is someone playing mahjong? :grin-square:
 
im disappointed as i was rooting for edgie to win. but ruben handled the pressure really well.

Edgie is one hell of a player...where do these guys come from?

Edgie vs. SVB is going to be something to watch.

I've seen his name tossed around before, but I'm not very familiar with him. I know he just beat Foldes and Efren in the recent Mezz tourney. I, too, would like to know where he's from. Anyone have the 411?

I think this is Rodrigo Geronimo from Phil. Saw his name surface in some international tourneys but have not seen him play

It's kind of funny watching that match because I've seen this several times from Edgie in action. He starts off slow and let's you get ahead a few games, then changes gear to catch up and win. So, barring all of the mistakes we saw him make in this match, I'm here to tell you that watching him lose to Ruben here was not indicative of his full ability.
