Rest assured, Karen Corr's pool game is very highly respected on the Joss tour. She's not the Joss tour's best player, but most would agree she's one of them. You are correct that Rempe was past his prime when Karen double-dipped him, but she has wins over most of the Joss tour's best, including Immonen and Robles, just to name a couple. Of course, they play better than her, but they respect her greatly as an opponent, and they've told me as much.
 
efren would eat allison alive in 9 ball

allisom would have no chance in hell to beat efren in 9-ball with a 6-out spot.
i know this for a fact because i follow efren's money game whenever he is here in manila. efren is so good that running a 6 or 7 pack in 9-ball is nothing to him.

i personally saw efren break and run 12 racks of rotation in a money match (cheap sets) here in sidepocket ( located in quezon city). efren gave someone of jenn barretta's caliber a 104-16 handicap and still won convincingly. if im not mistaken, the final score was 15-4. ask efren or his manager bout this if it sounds too ridiculous.

Did he run 12 racks in a row, or out of the whole time he played? Either way that's amazing, and I heard the high run for consecutive racks run is 4 or 5, I think Efren holds the title.

efren broke and ran 12 racks in a row(his opponent did not get a single shot in the whole run). you should have seen it, it was the best thing i've ever seen in all cue sports. even better than semih sayginer's 3-C exhibition i've seen in video or mike massey's finger shots.

i was laughing the whole time because his opponent was shaking and sweating profusely. the whole time efren was putting 12 pack on him. by the time efren was done, the guy had trouble picking up his jaw from the floor.

12 racks in a row at rotation? Stringing racks to toether in that game is way, way, more difficult than in nine ball. This is surely on a par with a 40-pack in nine ball. If somebody played rotation so well that they could break and run 25% of the time, which is inconceivable, they'd still be entitled to 16,000,000 to 1 odds on running the next 12 racks they play.

They can but it is just that I would not call it a fluke. Semantics I guess.

A few years back when the Joss finale was at Accu-Billiards in New Bedford, MA I watched Karen advance past many top players and was eventually knocked out by Bustamante in a hill-hill match that came down to a safety battle. It would be a fluke if I beat these players but I don't think it's a fluke when someone of Karens talent does.

Someone else had a 60+ run that week also, I believe. Either Hsin or Ewa, but my memory fails me.

Far out running the rest of the women. Efren came in 3rd. He had a high run of 132 I believe.

We need another US Open 14.1 Tourney. On tougher equipment.

tony ran either 142 or 146 against archer for the high run of the tourney i believe.

It was 150, he started at a -2 and had he mad his last 2 balls he would have had the <i> all time</i> High Run Record.

148 was the score? or how many he ran, because if it is the score was 148, and he started at -2 he would have actually made 150...right?

Efren played and beat Dallas West.

Efren fouled late in his run around 141 balls (I'm not positvie but I'll check it this week I have it at home). He touch the cue ball with his ferrel.

But I could be wrong. :(

Efren ran 136 on Rempe in Portland, Maine back in the mid 90's.
Efren I believe ran 142 on West because he was on his last rack to do it. He made the break ball and missed the rack.
Robles has the high run at 148.
Efren running a 12-pack of rotation on a money match is suspicious to me.
They flip coins in the Philippines for the break. Efren said 5 racks was his best.

Tony ran 148 on Archer, and I was there sweating it. He would have needed four more to get out.

Yes, I realize now what the run was, it was a while ago, but I also sweated the match and actually started crying when he missed that ball.
