I have a deal for the ultimate 1 pocket match. The Magician V's the Freezer. May 3rd 2008. I have been asked about making this happen so many times and finally all the pieces are in place. I have a short amount of time to make this happen and be able to get all sponsors the recognition they deserve for their help. This will be a $5,000.00 challenge match Held in the Phoenix area. I need help to finish this up and totally secure that it will happen. I need help from anyone in or out the business that is willing to help with sponsorship dollars. This event will be taped and released on DVD due to popular demand. You will be able to hang you companies banner at the event and will also get recognition on all marketing efforts. i.e flyers, pool related websites, pool and billiards news magazines and promo emails. I am hoping to get local TV involved also but can't promise what thwy will cover. Your sponsorship for this event will also give you VIP seating to the event for at least 2 people (depending on your sponsorship $ amount) You will also get a personal meet and greet with the players.

I think this is a great idea Mark,maybe put the sponsors names and in the beginning of the DVD also,that might be a good incentive to get their name out to a huge amount of viewers. ;)

Yes absoloutly. That will happen, anyone helping the cause will get as much exposure as is possible. Depending who you are just the fact of helping making this happen is a good feeling. Where is Fatboy when I need him and his $$ :)
 
Have you talked to Chuck bobbit, or Ron M of Alexanders, or Al the owner of Metro Sports? Those are the big money guy in the Valley.

Hey there, yes I have spoken to them and we are all trying to make some things happen here in the Valley of the Sun as someone says ;) They are working on things also to make happen to bring some exciting things here and so I can't ask then for money I'm afraid. Otherwise will will all be sponsoring each others events. I spoke with Chuck today and we are all on the same page. He is doing a great job by the way by bringing the shootout to town. Maybe I will finally get to meet you. Thank you for the advice though please keep it coming,

Wow, this sounds awesome! I might even consider taking a short road trip to watch it live. So Efren has also confirmed that he will be there?

I think Kolby's Corner pocket But it is not yet totally a done deal yet, I am meeting with them on Sunday as we have Earl doing an exhibition the day before and playing any locals who want to play. So a double whammy for them. We shall see. Sorry I don't have a def venue yet.

As a new comer to the the game of one hole,sign me up for a dvd.This one should be full of good learnin'.

I would love to stream it live for you Mark,i dont know if a laptop and a webcam will do the trick but perhaps,would have to do a dry run. :cool:

I don't have the first clue how you do that kind of thing, I have been talking with someone on doing the taping for a DVD and so maybe you could talk with him and that may work. If you think you can do it and do a good job I don't see a problem with it. Thank you for your help, need to get the prize $$ together.
 
They can't be playing even, can they?
Either way it'd be a great match and would definitely be worth $$ to watch, but kinda obv Efren has the nuts.

May 3rd is the TAR matchup preliminaries in Kansas City.

{edit: preliminaries start much earlier. May 3rd is right in the middle of the main challenge match}

I know, I spoke with TAR yesterday about it. I am going to see if Erfren can come back to PHX after Vegas and do it then but if he can't I have no choice as i am not sure when Efren will be in town again. Unfortunate but TAR and I are on the same page and do not want to conflict our events. TAR would like to come and work with us on the Efren/Frost match if we can re arrange. Have fun in KC

if i could go(if i'm well enough to go) i'd post up some money to make it happen, chuck bobbet is a cool guy. i would love to see this game go off
