way to many mistakes from Efren so far hope he snaps out of it and makes a match out of it

We would all like to see that..But I have always maintained, that Efren is at his weakest when games get down to a few balls, and that is the strongest part of Scott's game..There is no way Efren can miss easy outs, and have a prayer of winning this match.

Efren was never a great 1P player, his moving was always suspect!..When he was in his prime, he won a lot of games against good players, by the "Efren Factor", and his ability to run balls..Good players fell dead for him!..There is no way he can win at this game!..Scott has his number, and they both know it!..Unless Scott decides to toy around with him, I would wager Effie does not get to fifteen games!

it's 18-7 scott and a really tough session for Efren.

I hate to see an icon missing so many makeable shots and scratching on breaks. Brutal!

Not to diminish Scott's play which has been superlative.

best,
brian kc

Match is really getting ugly for Efren now he has only won one game all day :(

Not to beat a dead horse, we all love Efren's composure and attitude. He will always be a popular figure in the pool world!..But in spite of his record, I maintain one pocket was never his best game..It appears now, especially in his waning years, the 'magic' is gone!..There are many players now who could easily beat him at 1P..Truth be told, I doubt he would even make any top ten list!

Scott is playing OK, because he knows he has way the best of it!..His game seems to slip a little, playing guys like Alex P.. I honestly think Alex could give Efren considerable weight (at 1P) these days!

Efren> It won't even be close.

You are right about one thing..It ain't even close! :D

Um he won the a world championship two maybe three years ago...

Efren's $25,000 is out the door. I'd like to see him wave the white flag and make a new game for tomorrow night. That is, if all parties can come to terms.
