That is what it's the truth is there is.

Which John shows up? The one who hasn't played 2 hours of pool in a row in months?

They are both completely incredible players, at any pool game. Either subject to steamroll the other, in 1p or 9b.

Everyone thinks John hasn't played in a while.

He just got done with the Mosconi cup and probably has played more pool lately than he has in a long time. I think he'll be on his game. (Whatever level that is).

Efren and John are matching up tonight at Gary's Victor Billiards in Victorville, CA. they are going to play a set of one pocket and 9 ball. Just a little workout before they head out to the derby. Should start about 400pm west coast time.

7-6 Schmidt

If Efren is rested he has a good chance to sweep. However, he is prone to play cheap sets all night when he comes over to So. Calif which along with chess & cards can take its toll on a 60 year old who thinks he is 35.

John's 1 Hole, if he has been playing the game, is nothing to sneeze at as he was taught by one of the best--Jack Cooney. I just think that he had more heart back in those days as he hadn't yet been beat a little up by life.

Ya I tot JS forte is straight pool
Me thinks Efren has bigger speed over JS in 1P than the speed JS has over Efren in 9B
In 9B, JS probably has small miniscule edge over Efren
Efren is overall favorite
:D

Efren pulled out of the 9 ball match because he had a flight in the morning. Great match by both players. Efren came up a little short but he played great!!!

Efren was up 4-1? So John won 7 of the last 9 games? whoa!

Yes when John was down 5-2 he seemed to catch a higher gear that Reyes couldn't fade... They both came with mind blowing shots and position play. A couple of up table games were epic and the safety play was top shelf!! That was fun to watch live!!!!

Reyes vs. Schmidt

I want to thank Efren, Rolando and Tony for coming up to Gary's and giving us the game on short notice. The match was very close and could have gone either way. It was an epic match to sweat with some crazy momentum swings, the rail birds really witnessed a classic match tonight. I had it recorded and will have some discs made up. We will do it again sometime in the future, thanks again Gary Henry Owner of Gary's Victor Billiards

Schmidt:

Golfs in an 8am shotgun start, rides his dirt bike between his shooting bench and his target that's like 400 yards away, shoots his guns til the ammo runs out, and then horse-effs Efren after dinner.

Dude's like...
