Looks like a great way to face off stuff.
If you`r using a small enough bit, is it a good method for parting phenolig or G10?
or is a sharp parting tool or hacksaw still the best way?
Have you ever parted with a small bit ?
A lot of wasted material, don't you think?
Metal band saw or thin parting tool.
Make sure you wear a respirator with some gas protection .
The Ridgid router has so much run-out , I wouldn't trust it for facing jobs.

Best for facing job imo.
I have ordered a router mount from Todd and a Rigid router. I was watching a video by Bob Dzuricky where he used a end mill bit to trim and face off a tip and ferrule.
Is this a better way than using regular carbide cutting tools?
