There is a FB "reel" with a "subscribe" link at the top, and if you click it, you can subscribe to the brand-new Facebook page for WNT and get a badge and updates on the latest for 99 cents a month. The WNT.TV is supposed go live January 2025. As usual, the message about this is cryptic and unclear.
After my horrible experience with DAZN, what Matchroom offered Americans, I will not give up my credit card and personal identifying information until I hear from others how their experience is. Do I need a badge for 99 cents a month?

Confirmed, available for US users. We can all cancel DAZN.
I got this email yesterday:
We are contacting you to let you know of the upcoming changes to the Matchroom.Live platform and your existing subscription.
From the 7th of January Matchroom Live will no longer exist in its current form and be replaced by a dedicated pool only service WNT.TV
All existing snooker content and live events (excluding Champion of Champions and Championship League Snooker) will be available on the new WST PLAY platform available on www.wst.tv and the WST app.
Champion of Champions and Championship League Snooker will be live streamed across Matchroom Multi Sport and Pool YouTube where a local broadcaster is not available, more information will be published in the coming weeks from Matchroom Multi Sport.
We will be in touch over the coming weeks with additional details on the new WST PLAY platform and its features and benefits including pricing structure.
As a result of these changes all existing Matchroom.Live annual subscribers who wish to cancel their memberships will be eligible for a pro-rata refund. This will be refunded as the pro-rata amount they have paid until the 6th January. The deadline to claim is the 31st January.
We will be in touch with more details of the refund process in due course.

Seeing how they have not even registered the wnt.tv domain yet, I'm a bit skeptical. Hopefully someone won't go out there and get that domain and squat on it in the meantime.
I am watching the Snooker on Matchroom Live. Just checked my account and my 4.99 subscription will be 5.99 on 17 December.
Someone owns it according to godaddy.com. I suspect that Matchroom just hasn't turned on DNS yet.
I wonder if boxing will stay on DAZN.

So are they cutting DAZN out completely?
My credit card company gives me a fake number to use for online purchases. Surprisingly, when someone used that fake number without authorization, my credit card company canceled my real credit card--I thought they would just give me a new fake number. That makes me wonder what the purpose is of having a fake number?
I will consider subscribing to the new service. Based on the feedback here, I never subscribed with DAZN.
It makes more sense to have DD/MM/year than MM/DD/year…./jus sayin’
The deal with DAZN likely expired. Barry Hearn had spoke about this in 2018 when he and his son Eddie were in Chicago promoting boxing toward the end of 2018, which I attended as a guest.
