English Finish

This piece of rosewood had such a interesting grain that it reminded me of a piece of claro walnut. I decided that the only finish that would do it justice was a hand rubbed English finish. Lots of work but I think it will make this simple cue special.

Of course it has to play good so it is matched to a old growth, tight grained shaft.

I have had a couple cues with english type finish. Really like how it feels under your hand.

My current cue just has a hand rubbed finish, believe it is probably just minwax wood wax.

after coming back to this thread about 20 times I must say I love that freaking cue.
 
murray i like the way you marked the pin.....i bet that cue would help me run out alittle more....:thumbup:

That cue is Baddddd-azzzzzzz!!!

I bet that cue will break an 8-ball rack like nobody's biz-nass!!!!

Murray, this ocean flow of cues of all different types is very cool!!!!

reminds me of that video were the dude breaks the balls and they go in every hole....lol
