ENTIRE INVENTORY FOR SALE!! Established in 1956! Must Take All!! Great Deal!

Rumsey is trying but he is overwhelmed and doesn't know where to start. This would be a good opportunity for someone who wants to make an investment into a few antique tables and can restore them. But as you are well aware discretionary spending is at an all time low. And so what was once worth $20k+ fours years ago, i.e., restored 10 ft Medalist is worth only a portion today. And that's only if someone is willing to pull the trigger and make the transaction. This would be a good opportunity to make an investment hedging that luxury items make a come back in fours years. If not some Billiard Supply guy in Houston is going to give Rumsey a low ball offer and move it all to his warehouse.

Cheers,
Mark
PM me a price. I would consider putting a group together to purchase the lot after seeing what's there.

I mean, geez...just think of the logistics. Let's say there are tables and items enough to fill 2 semis. This is not a weekend pickup.

What would I need to do to move everything?

1. Fly in, take an inventory, make an offer...sounds like it would take more than a week just to do the inventory.

2. Hire a crew to disassemble, catalog and pack everything for shipment.

3. Hire a couple of semis and labor/forklifts, etc to load everything up.

4. Rent a storage warehouse in my location to have everything brought to and unloaded.

5. Hire a crew to unload and re-assemble everything.

6. Create a new inventory and check for damage

7....the list goes on and on....no idea of how much time, labor, storage, etc needed because no idea of what goes and what stays.

I have no doubt that there is a ton of great stuff and that it would be a super buy, but all those other expenses have to be factored in, also.

I'm interested in half of this stuff. Particularly the lights. I could probably find homes for half his tables. I've been looking for GCII top rails too.

This is for everyone who thinks im doing somethign wrong here when I am not.... I am sorry that you all disapprove but thats you alls opinions..... At one point i was asking 100,000 and Mark can back me up on that.... Now I am askign 30,000 as is for everything pool related.... Earlier someone said that there are items in the warehouse that arent included in the sale, but yest those are personal items, not pool related items.... If you all want me to take the time and generate a list, then yes the price will go up.... I gave you all a general list of what I have, and its up to you if you think its worth comeing you and taking a look at it.... I have had 2 ppl take a look at it and say they are very interested, but until I have a serious buyer, its first come first serve..... But piecing out the inventory is not an option....

Thats the thing Bishop, I can't sell just Half, I need to sell all and by the end of the year is my goal

I have a couple of people interested in a joint purchase. If anyone else is interested in possibly going in to a group buy then PM me. I only live a couple of hours away and could easily find my way up there to put my eyes on it.

Bishop,

I am interested in a few things. I also know someone interested in a few things. You are interested in a few things and you have someone interested in a few things. Maybe we can make this happen.

I want the Medalist, the English bar pool tables, some cue racks, a couple of the lights and some other misc stuff. I'm not interested in the Gold Crowns.

Thanks,
Mark

Some pictures are posted, but they do not do justice, like it would if you were seeing it in front of you..... Lowered price of inventory from over 100,000 to only 30,000
