I am officially woofing at Lee Brett!

I will play him 9 or 10 Ball for $1,000 and under the following conditions.

- A date must be set
- Race to 30
- Winner break / Loser Racks
- No Magic Rack
- 3 foul rule
- Jump cues allowed
- All ball foul, cannot touch anything on the table
- Formal dress - As if playing in a professional Snooker event
- Streamed live on POV Pool with selected commentators.
- At any agreed upon venue with at least 30 days notice.

Just for the record, I have nothing against Lee Brett. He and I are friends. I just think that this would be a great match. Furthermore, Lee did not see this coming and nothing in this post has been discussed between us yet. Lee and I played last year for 4 hours at the Chet Itow event and broke even. Neither of us were really prepared but it was a lot of fun.

For those of you who think he can win, I recommend that you sponsor him so that we can get this going.

Rule Changes:

1) i ref. Lee trained me & i've got Michaela's gloves....
2) no bridges.

carry on!

Hey Dan,

Sounds interesting. You say that you and Lee played once for 4 hours and broke even.

Why not consider playing on a 5 x 10. Now that would be a game. Lee has to move down from table size (snooker) and you have to move up to table size (4.5 x 9.0).

Just a thought. You guys have fun. :)

I forgot to add that I would donate to the stream when this happens. Gas money.

Will Mohawks be required?

Daniel.

This match will be a lot of fun to watch, I hope it goes off and I look forward to it. Good luck to both players! :woot:

Will Mohawks be required to conform to the dress code as well? :killingme: :thud:

Dopc.

I will play you... Need to work out my expenses and we are good to go... Should be a close match.

so the Dress Code, is same as Mosconi Europe w/ those microfiber tight pants & flat front? cool....

so who's commentating, Daniel? cause it's going to have to be someone who can translate both English, and Yank -

oooohhh....please be local to me...I'd love to see this.

You can play on my Gold Crown...RKC is supposed to take care of it soon...4 3/8" pockets!

- I'm not sure about the 'no bridges' requirement. A little fishy if you ask me.
- I'd be open to you ref'fing as long as I have confirmation that you are not biased or partial to either of us winning.

I will play you those rules of you spot me the 8 ball.

Barking, I don't know who you are and it's not the action that I'm chasing... It's this particular match. I'm happy to look at other proposals, but not on this thread.

GT - I have never played on a 10 footer and although I'm not opposed, I don't think I'm ready to challenge Lee on something that I have no experience with.

Lee will play! That's all I have to say for now.

Thanks, Jay. I'm already getting the 'I'll be managing, Lee Brett' vibe from you on this, which is way cool! I'm a big fan of Lee and and you, Jay, so I couldn't be happier that you've chimed in.

One question, though... Can you be a guest commentator as well?

Actually, I think it is necessary to set a date, because it prevents the opponent from pouncing when the other is not prepared. Setting a date provides insurance for a fair and tidy match!

That's absolutely awesome, Lee! Thanks for being a good sport about this without any notice. I hope you don't feel like you're put on the spot even though, admittedly, I am putting you on the spot.

If you have plans to play or attend 'The Swanee' in February, then may I propose we have this match on the Monday, immediately following the event?

Swanee is scheduled for February 15th/16th, 2014, which means you and I would play on Monday the 17th.

Regarding the dress code: I personally would like this match and many others to step up and be classier, which is why I would like us to dress formal. Yes, I'm proposing slacks and vest with button up shirts, bow tie and nice shoes.

Thanks again for being a sport, Lee! I wish you well. Where are you these days, anyway?

no problem - i don't like Yankees, nor Brits
the winner will be announced, based on who shoots better in their flat-front pants....

.

I was gonna bow up and try and get in the mix but I am not sure you can find flat front pants that will stay flat fronted... for Brits and Yanks... sure!! for us southern boys not so much.............

H-o-n-e-y, hush............

;)

Now that's the bonus question, which deserves an answer. However, not just yet. Suffice to say that I'm working on it...

More to be revealed...

You get Billy (Cardone) and I will play him a $2,500 Bank Pool match. He ducked me on FB when he woofed at me there, and I responded. I will play him a long race of 9-Ball Banks!
By the way the last time I played Billy he beat me for $300 so I want revenge!

P.S. I DON'T manage Lee. No one can manage him! He definitely has a mind of his own about who and when to play. I do know he is focused on giving lessons now, but he told me he is willing to play you when he's ready (i.e. has the money ;)). February may just be good as that gives him time to save up.
