Every Morning on AzB at 7:00-7:15, EST

I have noticed that in the mornings at 7:00, Eastern Standard Time, this forum is sluggish and almost comes to a halt for 15 minutes.

I was wondering if this may be the time that the forum software is working on things to keep the forum running smoothly.

Has anyone else noticed that the forum is very slow at 7:00 a.m., EST, or whatever time 7:00 a.m., EST, is in your neck of the woods?

Right now, I have 65,531 unread Private Messages! I now know how to fix that, by just sending a message or deleting a couple messages :D

Slowed to a crawl for me too

The forums slowed to a crawl for me too this morning. In other news, there was a big ball of fire in the east this morning. Sun up! I didn't realize they were still doing those things.

It's hot as you-know-what right now in D.C. Extremely humid. I've had the AC on for sometime now. I can hardly wait to get the bill!

I just fixed my PM count, and I'm not back to zero unread messages! :p

Speaking of big balls of fire (LOL), check out this cool NASA graphic of Nebula a/k/a "Cat's Eye," taken in outer space! Doesn't it look like an eyeball?

The forum is now moving faster, but every single day at 7:00 a.m., EST, the sluggishness begins on AzBilliards. I think it must be kind of like a daily upkeep to keep the forum moving smoothly, but I'm not sure.

Kentw, do a Search on this forum for "picture posting," and there are many threads that will explain it much better than I can. The SEARCH button is up at the top. You must reduce the pixels in the .jpeg file in order for it to work as an "Avatar," which is what the pictures by your name are called.

I appreciate your inquiry about Keith. I will never post again on this forum about whether Keith is attending an upcoming event.

That is a cool shot from NASA. As for the AC, it runs year around down here. Sometimes in the heart of winter, AC in the daytime, heater at night!

Up early, got to work today! :( :( On my cue lathe so it is pool related. I have errands to run too. I think I'll throw my cue case in the truck just in case I need a quick pool fix.

This time frame, as you state it, relates to EST.

That is the time when the forums are brewing up some coffee. At 7:15 it must be done and had a cup, so things perk up a bit. I always wondered what time the forums woke up.
