The 2011 groups are there but under 2012 it just says TBD.
Why would Ralf Souquet need to play a qualifier? I would think he would have just needed to call Charlie Williams and say he wanted in. He is a great player and a great ambassador for the game.
Where is Ortman?. Man can he play straight pool. I really enjoy watching him play. I do see some great matchups. I am going Tuesday and Wednesday. The last few years I was able to drive about 20 minutes to get to the tournament. Now it is about one and half hours if I am lucky and there is little traffic.

I think the last time Souquet played was 4 years ago, the year Feijen won it. I think it was sanctioned that year and that has a big effect on funding for some of the Europeans.
I heard Ortmann had a conflict that came up. He had been here every year and I think he would have been here if he could.

Besides Ortmann and Souquet, I'd have also like to have seen Thomas Engert.
And why wasn't Sigel there?
Engert hasn't been there in 4 years. I don't think he comes over to the US to play that much these days.
Sigel usually gets in arguments when he is there. Maybe he just did not feel like it this year.
