Hi Don,

It was thought to be a Kersenbrock years ago but finally it now authenticated by SW as a 1987 SW. I guess is a Franklin/Kersenbrock era SW. In 2004, DPK made a shaft for this cue.

Regards,
Duc.

duc, little confused, Kersenbrock or SW? can't be both. regards, don

Played with this SW cue tonight and the new shaft from SW is just perfect. The shaft quality is top notch...the grain lines are dead straight and the shaft is super clean. It has the elasticity and a very unique ping sound. It's just a very sweet playing cue. The cue butt is 16.48 oz but it's so well balance you think you were playing with the perfect weighed cue for the centennial brunswick balls. I run at 55 in straight pool tonight with it and run a several rack of nine ball. If I don't get a decent offer soon...I think this will be a keeper for me!!

Well, which is it?

I might have made a move on your last SW/DPK if I would've known you use this type of selling tactic.

Either way, that's a good looking early classic cue you have there. A bit heavy, but still sexy!

Hi,

Sorry, not sure what to tell you but I was always negotiable when it come to prices. "3900.00 Firm" means I really like to get very close offer. I can't remember a time I sold anything at the price I listed...especially on AZ. Surprising on your comment on the fancy SW/DPK, should have throw me a number....you would have been surprised. Anyhow, not sure why a price would have stop you from trying, all you had to do was asked or make an offer....worst I can tell you is no.

Having said that I am fairly knowledgeable on prices of my cues, I buy them right and I sell them right or I don't do it all. I buy and sell cues as a hobby and it give me a chance to plays some of the best cues in the world. Lately, I'm been acquiring cues more than selling them...just not a seller market yet.

I also have this cue up on Ebay and I guess my reference was more on the ebay auction. Gotten several offers on this SW so far but nothing yet in the close range of my "3900" firm area. Going to play with it some more today...will see what happens.

Thanks again for the interest.

Up to the top!!

Regards,
Duc.

Ok guys, got some real close offers and trying to work on a deal that doesn't look like it will finalize so just bumping to the top to see if there are any other offers.

Up to the top. I will also consider cash offer for just the original shafts and new SW shaft with the refinished SW. I have someone interested in the DPK shaft alone.

Regards,
Duc.

This SW actually has a very unique gold spec inlay in the butt sleeve that line up perfectly to one of the lower sharp point. Not sure what it is but Laurie mentioned that it could have been added and revealed during the refinish or it could have been something that happen during the refinish. Could the inlay could have been done by DPK to identify that it's his cue??...not sure but thought it worth mentioning to you.

Here's a pic:
SOLD!!
