I may be mistaken, but don't 1-of-a-kind Schon's have the word "Unique" engraved on the butt?

you are correct timkrazymon

And not saying this isn't a gorgeous cue, Schon Uniques are usually a lot more elaborate than that, and are around the 3500-4000 range

He didn't say

The OP didn't say that it was a Schon Unique. He said 1 of 1.Also,made for an employee, could be different set of standards.Maybe this cue was made by that employee to his taste, and it is not part of the Schon line.
Any way,just my $.02
Marc

You could be right about the employee part.
But being 1 of 1 is what makes a Schon cue a "Unique"

I purchased a 1982 Schon from Evan Clarke that was his personal playing cue. He designed it to his preference as to design, weight and balance. It is not marked 1 of 1, nor is it marked Unique. However I do have a letter from Evan stating the cue is unique. Nice cue sir and good luck with your sale.

This cue was made before the unique seriers was started. And the employee picked the materials he liked for this particular cue.

Thanks. Sorry I did not see the earlier post about the case. I have no idea who made the case, I can not find a label on it. If anyone is interested in the cue please message me.
Thanks

That is a hell of a nice cue there,be damn proud to have that myself. Nicest piece of kingwood I've ever seen too . Tommy D.

1982?

I HAVE HEARD THIS SEVERAL TIMES ABOUT EVAN CLARKE BEING AT SCHON IN THE 80S . It isnt the case he came in 92 a few months before BOB SOLD SCHON TO TERRY AND EVAN ..

Evan was an employee when Bob owned Schon, and subsequently bought it.
