I can make them as small as you want. PM sent.

Thanks a Million!!

Could they be sealed with shellac or epoxy? Do they go straight onto the wood or do you need to have a coat on before you apply the decal?

They are applied directly to any clean dry smooth surface (wood, plastic or whatever). Then after they have dried, apply 2 or 3 very light "dry" coats of clear acrylic. After that has completely dried, finish the cue as usual. Instructions are included.

Hi Todd,
I'll try to attach an image of the 2 decal logos on the sides of my table, do you think you can "fill in" the missing pieces so I can apply them back to the way they were originally? Also, what would be the best way to effectively remove the old decasl if this can be done? I don't have the actual dimensions with me, so if you think you can do it, I'll get them for you after I get home from work tonight. My dad bought this table new around '64/65, I moved it about 5 or 6 times over the years, so I'm sure this had a lot to do with it's current condition. Hope you can help, thanx.
---Bill

WOW!!! That is a cool old table!!!! I can probably make them for you if they will fit on a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet. But if National Shuffle Board is still in business these may be copyrighted. If so you would have to check with them before I could make them for you. They probably would not care if you are just doing one restoration, unless they still sell them and if they are available it may be cheaper to go that way anyway. You would not believe the fines for copyright enfringement. Let me know, I'll be happy to help anyway that I can.

They are no longer in existance (National Shuffleboard Company), I'd say by about 20+ years now, I checked Wikipedia, Google & Bing so far and other than some people trying to restore a really old one from the 30's or 40's, there's really no information available on them from what I have seen. I think it's pretty safe to say you won't get in any trouble, especially since I just want to replace the existing decals on my table that probably will stay in my family for a few more generations...Let me know how much you think it will cost for the 2, how to remove the old ones cleanly without damaging anything and yes, they will each fit on a standard size 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. I will get actual dimensions later...

It's really hard to tell from the photos is the surface that they are on fiberglass? or a painted surface? If they are fiberglass gel-coat then you can try some acetone or thinner. I would test a small spot out of the way that would not be noticeable to make sure it won't damage anything. Those original ones are probably not exactly the same type of decals that I can make?? They are probably heaver and more durable. But they should look pretty much exactly the same. I will send a pm with more.

Got my logos today, looks way better than the proofs :)
Haven't cleared yet but

Thanks Terry
The decals came out really well.
Kind of a pain to apply, due to the shape of my logo.
I wasted a few for sure!
Hope to get a couple more coats of clear on tonight and polish one up over the weekend and see how it looks :)

If any of you guys who have purchased decals from me have photos of the finished products I would like to possibly post some on my web page. If you would be willing to allow me to use your photos please email them to me at jtoddshultz@yahoo.com.

Thanks a Million!!
Todd

I tried to send a couple pics, but the email didn't go through....
You can grab some pics off my Facebook page though

Thank you to Todd for helping to make my Logo a reality on my cues.
I ordered Black and Gold.
The Gold is on the carbon cue handle, and the Black is on the composite cue shaft.

Here are some pics of the Logo's I got from Todd.

I can't take pics to save myself.

Thank you again,
Neil Lickfold
