Faces for the names

I found a couple of more pics that aren't great but they're showable. ;) I'm extremely critical when it comes to me in pics.

Richmond was taken this June on the start finish line at the Richmond track. The lady beside me is a friend of mines mom.

Indy was taken a couple of yrs ago at the Indy 500. The guy in the pic is a dear old friend of mine.

Helio is myself and Helio Castroneves... 2 time Indy 500 winner. One yr my above mentioned friend was dateless for the co x-mas party so I was lucky enough to get to go. It was one of the coolest experiences of my life.. very fun night.. Reading country club, Team Penske X-mas party. Roger Penske actually came over & introduced himself to me which I thought was uncharacteristic of people in his position.. they tend to sit & wait on people to come to them. :rolleyes: Mr. Penske is nothing like what most might think. He's a very nice guy that has done some great things for his employees in their time of need.

I remember all the crap on here when FL was starting to agitate people. While it can get entertaining, I believe all the personal attacks and bickering should be done on it's own thread. They did that once before where you could go to slam other board members and the rest of us didn't have to bother searching thru the crap to find what we were here to see.

I was only responding to posts directed towards me, but I know it was first brought up in the thread bearing my name. I don't know how it got started over here as I don't feel like searching through twenty pages to find out.

That is why Southernbilliards.com will never be the largest of the pool sites. Because Professor R.H. Gilmer will not tolerate this kind of crap. That is also why SB is my home site.

AZ is huge and Mike does the best he can to keep it to a minimum. Many great people post here and I enjoy it. There is always some that just can't resist jabbing it to someone else though.

Yea, I'm not taking sides. I've pretty much gotten used to reading 1 to 2 posts per page that is on topic while the rest are basically argumentative/name calling bullshit. It sucks really.

I wasn't trying to attack, blame, or insult any one. I just know from the past on here, when one person seems to have insulted or disagreed with another, and it turns personal, it should continue on another thread. Maybe one named, Personal attack zone.
By the way, I think you did a very nice thing for the adoptive parents and for your daughter. That's just my opinion.

Yes opie, it sucks. I come here to read, learn, and discuss pool, not some domestic issue that I could not care less about. I have no problem with the premise of this thread, and have enjoyed the pictures (nice looking kids Koop).
