Mahalo for your time. Would like to know fair price for gold crown II. Current owner has had it for 10 yrs and it belonged to a pool room before them, unknown period of time. Other than being a player I don't know a lot about assesing the condition of a table. The rubber deffinitely needs to be replaced as well as cloth. If I had to say I would put it at fair condition. Ball return box is lose and otherwise seems to be structuraly sound. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I would not pay more than $800 for the table as is, and you can expect to put another $400 to $1000 into it for it to be properly set up with the rubber replaced depending upon where you are located.

My thoughts exactly. They want $2,000 and expect to get it. All I would offer is 500 and not settle for more than 800. Mahalo for your time!

I picked up my GC III for $660. It was in great shape, I replaced the tightened the pockets, replaced the cushions and installed new cloth, I spent another $500 to get it where it is now. I was about to purchase a GC II for $700 which did not need any work done to it. Just giving you a baseline of prices I have encountered. Hope this helps and good luck.

Appreciate the input all. Out here on Oahui I guess people just expect things to cost more. Looking on craigslist, again on Oahu, I see a lot of tables, unfortunately no Diamonds, and they list for a long time and never seem to sell. I call on them and they still expect to get high $. A GC II, or any GC, from a private seller out here is extremely rare. Thank you again and take care.

I think that $800 for a GC II is stealing it as long as the slates are good and the rails are in decent shape. $2000 may be a little high of a price on the mainland if it needs a lot of work, but in Hawaii, finding a QUALITY table like a GC II will be a lot tougher. I would think that anywhere,$1500 is a fair price,as long as all it needs is rubber and cloth. An all time great playing table. Good luck
